Having problems with your Eureka 2903A Maxima Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

It sucks from the hose, but not from the base.

Answers :

I guarantee that there ia a wad of paper in the intake throat. This will necessitate disassembly of the bottom plate and removal of the beater/brush bar.) I am assuming an upright rug/floor vac, as I didn't get any model numbers/types from your description.\015\012This disassembly is very easy to do. Remove said items and dig deep into the intake throat at the motor.\015\012Good luck.

No suction vacuum won't pick up -- I've checked the bag, hose...and it seems to have no sucking power. The internal hose may be jammed (I vacuumed up a lot of shredded paper), but nothing as far as I can stick in fingers in. I don't have a metal coat hanger to slip down, but I'm afraid that might tear the hose and then the darn thing won't work anyway. :o(

I'm using Miele Medivac vacuum and I just sucked in a small plastic eye drop container by accident(I sometimes take off the brush part to **** in 'small enough' articles). And it is jammed in the part where the plastic hose connector bends. I think I can take it out if I can just disconnect the long necked plastic hose connector that connects the metal wand part and the hose part. Is it designed to be disconnected or should I not even try it?
