Poor suction We bought a model home about 11 years ago and it had the Cental M&S Cyclonic Cleaning system. The suction has steadily been weakening. Now it is almost non-existant. I clean the filter bag in the main unit, but how clean does it need to be. Could there be a clog in the wall lines. If yes, how does one unclogg them. Thank you. I liked the system and would hate to just give up on it. Jean

Had my dyson root cyclone for about 4 years now, and in the last year it's had a few problems. About 4 months ago it started to make this awful grinding sound when the roller bar was engaged and I took it to a repair shop and they said it was the roller bar itself. The shop replaced the part and it worked fine for a couple of months and then it started to make the grinding noise again. I'm using (or WAS using) a Eureka ''the boss'' model 8803. The belt broke, no biggie, so I replaced it with a Eureka model U belt, the problem is when I put the new belt on and turn on the vaccuum, the belt breaks again. I am also having trouble getting the brush roller to fit right when the belt is in place. I can't find any sharp edges that would cut the belt, nor can I find where any small bits may have broken. Anyone have a solution for me?

First, make sure you have the right belt, second, i am thinking that you are not lineing the roller up right, it will only fit one way. look at the ends of the roller and the grooves where it slides in, you should be able to see clearly how it goes. ... Vacuums
