I have a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner makes a helluva racket whilst in use. Called up Dyson and they told me to flip the floor/carpet knob 10 times back and forth. That did the trick for a short while and it started again. Continue attempts useing that technique does not work. I think in spite of the big bragging I see on the TV this guy braying about how superior his product is it is a piece of junk. I should have bought a Eureka or something, at least it would have been less expensive. I

I have bought new Hoover bags on two occasions. The first spares I bought were the Xxxl variety and I didn't think they fitted that well. The next spares I bought were the type g megafilt. I bought the Bissell Heavy Duty in Jan 2009 and now the brush will not rotate. I have gone through all the trouble shooting procedures and it still does not work. Is my vacuum under a one year warranty? If so do I take it back to where I bought it?

I have a Polti Vaporetto household steam cleaner that I bought 16 years ago. I haven't used it for about 10 years because the connection between the steam er and the attachments doesn't work properly and it is difficult to use. The shop where I bought it no longer sells them and can't get them fixed anymore. I'm about to ditch it, but thought I would have another go at using it. (It was very expensive). Now I can't get the safety cap off so I can't fill it or test it. Any ideas on what I can do

Hi, I bought a Homedics toe touch weighing scale about 12 months ago (or less). I don't use it that often but a short time after I'd bought it it has started give inaccurate readings in terms of weight or no weight readings at all and just gives me the 'Err' message. I have changed the batteries but this doesn't seem to help neither does using it on a hard surface. Any ideas - I haven't kept the receipt so can't take it back! Regards Eleanor Kirk

A friend who bought a multimaster less than a year ago has had his start a loud 'clattering', dry, noise, and the gearbox started to get hot. The output shaft now has about the same amount of slop as the total movement should be. It is one of the quick attach type. I bought one of the allen key attach type, and have found in the past with various 'name brand' tools, drills, angle grinders etc that they usually use a 'dry' type grease which soon throws off the necessary parts and they run dry u

I just bought a good Sears Kenmore Progressive 300 upright vacuum (116.38812891) today at a garage sale for five bucks. I left my relic Electrolux with the new owners of my former home during a recent relocation. In the interim I bought a Bissel 3750H which I do not care for, and borrowed a Eureka 7685 AU which performs somewhat better. I cleaned up the Kenmore, and though it seems to run well, noticed the drive belt is showing signs of degeneration. I would like to replace it, but was unable t

I bought Roomba 560 and love it. It didn?t come with a lighthouse so I bought one on Ebay. When I put the batteries in it the green light on top flashes 5 or 6 time very quick and then stops, it doesn?t flash after that. When placed in front of the Roomba in either mode, virtual wall or lighthouse it doesn?t direct the Roomba. The question is, is there a process to marry the two units together or do you think the lighthouse is defective? Thank you Gary

My 88 year old mother bought a Dirt Devel DHC001 - has been used twice but it looks blocked and has no suction but there is suction at the pipe end if I take it off. The shop she bought it off thought they were being helpful and removed all packaging but seem to have taken instructions as well.

My first proheat lasted four years so I bought a new one. After I used my Pro Heat for only the fourth time my first issue occured, the gear on the pump that runs the brushes came off, so I had the one from my old proheat, I just changed the gear spindle that is screwed to the pump and fixed that problem but now it will not pump water. Vaccuum issue I just bought a Eureka upright model 5892 BVZ, my concern is, I bought it on sale (floor model) and it didn't have a manual with it.
