Vacuum my vaccum is not sucking
I just discovered that if you remove the dust cup, lay the vaccum back, reach up inside above the dust cup area, there is a yellow piece that can be removed (twist it and it comes out.) I found that there were GOBS of lint and pet hair stuck inside there. We removed all of that and the vacuum works great again!
Disconnect the hose from the base and turn it on see.if you have suction which i'm sure you will clean all the filters there are three.one above the dirt cup,one up inside above the dirt cup and one below the dirt cup that says hepa the door swings open.blow through the hose and see if its clogged.on the base where you disconnected the hose see if there is anything in there.if there is you can bend the tip of a coat hanger til the tip is round and work it down into the tube where the hose connects.if theres anything in there you should be able to push it out through the bottom with the hanger clean filters after every coule of uses

Unbeknownst to me, someone took the bag out of my Kenmore Progressive vacuum and failed to replace it. I have been vacuuming without a bag for months, and today the vacuum stopped sucking. When I opened up the front to replace the bag, tons of dirt and dust came pouring out. I thoroughly cleaned the vacuum, put in a new bag, but still no sucking power. Just dust coming from the rear vents where one of the filters is. Is the vacuum ruined, or is it a simple solution of buying a new filter?

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don't know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? Hi I’ve got a Panasonic vacuum cleaner MC E468 1600W a few years old now but works well up to recent problem. Not picking up I checked the obvious things and found excessive air being sucked in around the hose housing at the back of the vacuum (as it enters the waste bag) On inspection it appears to me as if there should be some sort of gasket that may have perished and been sucked in, however I can’t identify any such part. Any thoughts on what the problem/solution may be will be appreciate

My Vacuum DC-17 has just quit sucking. It has been making quite a racket since I had the belt changed at a repair shop several months ago. I was told that the belt was a new design and figured that was why it was making so much noise. it seemed to work fine, was picking up dirt and all, but today, when I started vacumming, I noticed it was not sucking air either with the belt engaged or not. My vacuum is approx. 5 years old.

Infinity Vaccum by Shark, model number NV31COS, will not start. The vacuum was running just fine until it grabbed the edge of a curtain. Turned it off to release the suction. Turned it back on and was working fine. About a minute later the vacuum was making an odd noise. Every 2 seconds or so it would "heave" (lack of a better word) then go away, then come back and so on. Turned the vacuum off and checked for blockage, none that could be seen or felt, and now the vacuum won't turn. Any suggestio
