I have Optima, 12amp Eureka vacuum, Model 431, AXZ type and the extension hose for cleaning corners and edges --the plastic part that the attachments fit into has a piece broken off and tools don;t fit anymore. It looks like the hose attachment can be replaced--can it be and if so--where can I get a new hose attachment. It seems it is cheaply made of plastic and really shouldn't have broken a piece off.

It is not clear how to access the front spool on a Eureka 'Boss - smartvac' 4870K vacuum cleaner, when replacing the belt. Trying to force the flimsy black plastic lever attached to the shiny silver spool where the front end of the belt appears as if it should go, would cause breakage.
The shiny spool is the mechanism that stops the brushroll (brushroll control). The belt only slips around the brushroll, and the motor spindle. ... Eureka Smartvac 4870 Bagged Upright Vacuum

I have the Eureka The Boss Power PLus Model # 4703 Type A. When using the detached hose and wand it works OK; however, when using the Vacuum with the hose attached it doesn't work well at all.
My Kirby shampooer - G4 - hardly used any water from the tank and no suds at all. Pet hair did blow out of the small slotted holes in the tray as I moved the shampooer back and forth, but the carpet was basically dry. I did vacuum before shampooing, so the brush part seemed to work great during shampooing, but no water! The small screen was stuck in the crook of the hose that attached to the tank so I did get that out and put it on the small hole on the tank, but it didn't make any difference. I

I have a Kirby G4 Vacuum Cleaner - MOdel G4 D. I have never had any problems or repairs done to it in the past ten plus years that I've had it. This is an upright vacuum. My dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to have the same suction power it used to. I have cleaned out the canister and have taken apart the vacuum head (for cleaning carpets) and it doesn't seem to be blocked but it seems to lose suction by the time it reaches the head. The suction is strong at the end of the hose (where you attach the telescopic attachment with vacuum head) Any ideas? Thanks, Irene
