Won't work My Eureka Mighty Mite 3670 Bagged, was working fine, and we unplugged it to switch to another outlet in another room and it just stopped. We tried several other outlets and it just won't turn on. We thought maybe it got hot because we had been using it for a while and we let it rest for a while and then changed the bag just to be sure, although it was not full. But it still will not turn on. Any ideas?

My electrolux Epic 6500 power nozzle Model N109J will not work. It had an intermittent short which I thought I fixed (some of the insulation on the wires were pinched). I fixed the wires and it worked intermittently for an hour then shut down completely. Could the reset switch have a short? When I press the switch nothing happens.

We have a dyson dc 07 animal the machine was working fine then switched off after returning to the machine minutes later it wouldnt switch on, i removed on off switch cover and used a short piece of wire across the brown wires flicked the wall switch and it worked, aha i thought faulty switch aquired a new one to no avail and now even the short piece of wire trick doesnt work, has the motor died do you think, it wasnt over heating or making strange noises prior to refusing to work

It could be the motor. I'm having to replace the brushes on my DC 05. It appears that you can only get brushes for the YDK motors in the DYSON, not the Panasonic motor. The handle for my Eureka 5993 AVZ was getting very hot when used. Finally, the wires around the switch melted and now the vacuum will not work. What is wrong? Is the switch bad? The wires only melted in the immediate vicinity of the three-prong switch. Nothing else appears to be wrong; the vacuum worked fine when it was running - except for the handle getting hot. I have a Eureka Upright vacuum (4800 Series). When I try to start it by turning the switch on, it wont. For few days, I was able to get around this problem by repeatedly turning the switch on and off until it turned on but that does not work any more. Could it be something related to the switch it self or the power cable. My wife mentioned that one of my kids might have pulled the power cable too hard (at the back of the vacuum). Any help to solve this problem will be very much appreciated. Tha

Altrev, I have an ODC325 Black&Decker spacemaker coffeemaker on my boat and it stopped working this weekend although the hot plate still gets hot. I suspect it is the thermal switch as you described (I hear a click when I switch the machine on but nothing happens and the heating element does not kick in). I would be very happy to receive one or two of these 14 spare switches you mention so I can repair the unit. If still available I would appreciate hearing from you how we can do the transact
