Having problems with your Eureka Smartvac 4870 Bagged Upright Vacuum ?
The belts wear and break very quickly as tho something is rubbing against it on one side. It seems to be worse when I use the hose.
Put the belt on the motor in the opposite direction. When running, the brush should be pushing the dirt to the FRONT of the unit, not towards the rear.

Filter I bought this Hoover a few years ago-- just now about to use it first time. I cannot find my user's manual and don't know how to change the filter-- or to clean it or whatever I am supposed to do with it. Also, there is a handle on one side of the unit that seems to be attached to an empty chamber or canister kind of thing. It looks like it should pull out, but it does not budge. I really would like to have a manual, but can't seem to find one. Is there a similar model that is still

Hi, I have a cleanview bagless model# 3576-2 and my belt keeps breaking (it seems like one of the rings it should wrap around is missing) right now I have been wrapping it around the brush and a metal rod. Lost suction I've only used this vacuum a few times, it's practically brand new. Now, one I turn it on, it sounds fine, and the hose feels as if it's getting some suction, but it's not strong enough to actually **** things up from the carpet into the canister. I have completely emptied the canister and bought a new filter. Nothing seems to help.

We have two of these vacuums and both of them have experienced the same problems. First the floor heighth adjustment doesn't work and now neither one will pick up on either carpet or floor when in the brush/floor mode. They both seem to work with the suction hose function. We have removed the back panel to see if there was an obstruction but it was clear. We have changed the bag and the small filter (not the HEPA filter) all to no avail. What else can we do? We are desperate to use our vacu

My Bissell BS3920F upright (similar to the 10N6F) has been working wonderfully for the past 3 years but suddenly seems to not pick up dog hair as well as it used to. It has been pulled apart by my husband to ensure nothing is blocking the hoses etc and when running the suction seems to be there. It seems to grab the dog hair and leave it in a straight line directly under the unit without picking it up. I then disconnect the hose and use to hose to pick up the dog hair. This works well but obviou

I am putting my bissel 8910 back together and behind the motor there is a black 3-way tubing connector. I do not seem to have another tubing for this one to go to? Maybe it is lost or ?

Dear Sirs, I purchased two Braun 5875 Contour Electric Shavers in May 2009. I didn't start using one of these new shavers until August 2010. In January of this year I found that the contour part of my razor started to flex on one side and the spring clip that retained the foil became loose. I didn't get very good shaves from this Braun razor and put it down to the pattern change of the foil itself. I have always used Braun shavers because I was of the opinion that German made articles were alway

I have a power drive baggless vacuum cleaner...it runs well, but suddenly it seems to have lost most of the suction coming through the hose and floor area. When I remove the dirt container, the suction below it seems strong. I have had it to repair twice--they have tuned it up and replaced all filters and belt. Hello Cynthia,\015\012\015\012It's not glued, but it can be a little difficult to remove. You need to twist and pull at the same time and it should pull off. If it's being stubborn, squirt a little bit of WD40 / penetrating fluid where th ... Vacuums
