Having problems with your Euro-Pro Shark Professional Upright Vacuum with Bonus StickVac Red Bagless Vacuum ?

The brush is not moving on the vaccume. I'm pretty sure that the belt is busted. I cannot see how to get the shroud off, so that I can get to the roller and belt. It all looks and feels like one piece, even when I start removing screws. It is a bag-less vac. The model number is - v1310rs. Thank you.

I know on my Eureka I had to remove a couple of screws on the bottom and then get a flat blade screwdriver and wedge it on each side of the base kinda next where the end of the roller would be and it snaps up and off. Really weird I thought but that's how it was done on my model. Or on another vacuum cleaner I remember once I got the bottom piece that covered the roller off, the belt was right there. It may seem like it's all one piece but just stick the flat blade screwdriver where you think it might help and gently pry and you will figure it out.

Belts breaking/melting The original belt broke at almost 1 year so I replaced it. I changed the carpet setting to shag even though my carpet is very low pile to make it easier on the vacuum. I didn't get to use it but just a couple minutes and could already start smelling the new belt getting hot. I checked the roller and it is easy to spin. Not clogged with hair or dirt. Now the inside of the new belt has small pieces of rolled rubber instead of being smooth. The metal shaft that goes into the

I have a Dyson DC-17 and the top of the cyclone has hair and other debris jammed in the ports. It has 6 six screws holding the parts together and I can only get access to 4 of the screws. The bottom piece appears to be removable, but I can't figure out how to remove it without damaging it. If I can get this piece off, then I have access to the other 2 screws. Can you tell me how to remove the bottom piece? Thanks in advance.

The instructions on how to dis-assemble your DC-17 are somewhat lengthy and it is quite helpful to have pictures and videos handy while you are doing it. Faithful Sebo X1 upright, about 12 years old, stopped working today. I replaced old with new dust bag, checked all dust paths were clear, checked main brush was clear/clean, and drive spindle rotated OK with fingers. When power switched on, the two red indicators briefly flash on then off, but nothing more happens, motor does not start - even with power reaching machine. Tried removing all consumables, refitting and turning on a few times to reset, no joy. Removed base cover, both belts were i

My Little Green Machine has stopped sucking (second one with this problem!) I have removed the bottom plate and cannot find how to get to the hose to determine if there is a blockage. Hi. We've got a Dyson DC17 "Animal". It's clogged, and we are unable to separate the purple cyclone cap from the main cyclone body to get to the problem. We've heard of 4 torx screws that take some interesting tactics to access. I've been through this thing with a flashlight, and torx tools for a protracted period, and even after removing the torx screws was unable to ultimately separate the two pieces (main body from purple cap assembly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx -

The TechDrive Pedal on my Kirby G6 fell out of the back of my vacuum cleaner. I removed the screws from the metal plate one the bottom to try to see if something had come a loose. Can you send me a diagram so I can put it back together or tell me where I can get a service manual. The only part I am having trouble with is the metal piece inside that engages the power drive. Thank you.

My Kirby G6 light is not turning on when I start the machine. I took off the front piece and removed a lot of hair from the roller and interior. Since I did that, the belt keeps coming off (even though it is fairly new). Is that the reason the light won't turn on? Is there any advice you can give me before I take it in?

The light indicates that the brushroll is spinning. If it isn't coming on, the power nozzle may have been reinstalled incorrectly. Take the nozzle off and then use my step-by-step guide to reinstall it. I expect that it will take care of the problem. ... Kirby Vacuums

Last night as I was vacuuming, I noticed that the belt stop indicator light was on. I pulled out the hair that had gotten tangled around the brush in hopes of solving the problem. It didn't change things. I then unscrewed the entire bottom piece to take out the brush roller. I removed hair from the end piece of the brush roller and reattached the belt; however, I cannot figure out where the microchip is supposed to go so that I can reassemble the base piece by screwing it back together. A friend who bought a multimaster less than a year ago has had his start a loud 'clattering', dry, noise, and the gearbox started to get hot.
