Water seems not being introduced to heating element, which is hot, Depressing the handle appears not to be releasing water from tank; very little if any steam or water comes out base even after holding the handle down for a prolonged period and or pumping the handle.

I have a proheat 2x, and the pump will only spray water for a few seconds when unit is turned on, then nothing. The attachment is the same way. I think this is the pump failing, and the unit is only over a year old. How much would a pump cost? If this is the problem.

I just had my pump replaced for $66 and the repairman said this unit is notorious for this problem. He had 6 other units in his shop when we came in. My Steam Vac F59149 will not vacuum up the cleaning solution. I have checked the usual culprits. The dirty water tank is empty, the yellow float is not up too high. This is a relatively new appliance, so the way for the water is not blocked, there is just no suction. The warm air is blowing, the brushes are spinning. What next?

My bissell powersteamer model 1695 does not spray enough water out. Hardly anything will come out of the handheld attachment either, just a few drips. With the floor unit, it appears the only water coming out is a result of gravity when the control is squeezed. Nothing appears to be plugged up with debrie or deposits. There does not appear to be any kind of drive belt for the pump as it seems to operate off the main vacuum motor. Any ideas?

ShopVac pump The waterhose connection is up high. The only way to get the water up to the level of the hose is to continually hold down the on button due to the automatic shut off after it fills to a certain level. On the bottom of the filter there is a hole. I am thinking there should be a small hose of some sort to put into that hole that would then lead up to the level of the water hose. Concept makes sense to me. But in the meantime, good old duct tape seems to have done the trick. Not exact

Hi my proheat bissell 7901 stopped pumping water to the floor, but it pumps water from the hand hose. I read the manual and followed how to check belt and the flat belt on right side of shampooer is fine and I turned on and it turns and so do the brushes at the bottom of the machine. I was reading online and I guess there's two belts on this machine? where can I find the other belt to see if it needs replacing. I guess it's a ribbed belt? that is the water pump belt?

Saeco Odea Giro pumps the water but the internal spline or gear is not turning moving the ground coffee grinds to the point where the water can pump to the front exit lines so the water is pumped into the over flow resevoir. How do I replace the gear or check to make sure this is the problem. I want to replace this myself.. Also how do I get the unit apart it seems to be bullet proof. Is this a common problem.

The automatic drain hose is hooked up to the back of the unit, but when the bucket is full, the automatic pump does not work. The automatic pump should come on and empty the bucket, but it does not come on unless the water is siphoned manually through the tube. Then the pump come on and empties the bucket. I have reattached the tube and still had to manually siphon the water through the tube. Any suggestions?

When pluged, in the unit turns on ( green light illuminates ) and feels warm. Yes, I filled the water container. The unit does not generate any steam. For some reason, I do not have an "operation manual" --- but it doesn't seem to be all that complicated! Have left it plugged in for 25 minutes. A small amount of water came out while just sitting. Then another small amount of water comes out when I push the handle in. I will assume that steam should come out when I push the handle in. Well, it do
