\015\012\015\012·  Step 3
\015\012\015\012Run the vacuum cleaner over the flooring. Continue rolling the\015\012vacuum in front and back motions until the entire surface has been cleaned.

\015\012\015\012·  Press the ""Release" button on the back side of the\015\012mop to remove the water container. Fill the water container to the fill line.\015\012Add a small amount of Shark water softener for hard water. Snap the water tank\015\012back into place.
\015\012\015\012·  Attach a microfiber pad to the bottom of the mop. Stretch the\015\012microfiber pad over the empty mop head.
\015\012\015\012·  Plug in the steam mop and turn the switch to "On."
\015\012\015\012·  Run the mop over hardwood, tile and linoleum floors, allowing the\015\012steam to clean the floors. Begin at the back of a room, and work your way\015\012forward so you don't step on a clean area.
\015\012\015\012·  Snap the carpet glider onto the mop head. Glide the steam mop over\015\012the carpet to freshen carpeting.

Beater brushes not turning on the wife's Hoover Steam Vac model F5905-900. Found one prior ''solution'' stating that it sounded like the belt was bad. That was my original thought, but on checking schematics and trying to find part numbers at Sears Parts Direct and at Hoover, it does not appear the F5905-900 steam vac HAS any belts to begin with. I have a Shark Steam Mop, model S3101, that caught on fire. Looks as though a wire inside rubbed until it became exposed and then caught fire. I have had this unit for about 1 1/2 to 2 years; liked the concept of steaming my floors rather than using detergents. I am not happy though about spending $100 on this unit and then it only lasted this long.

I just bought a used euro pro steam shark model ep903, has all parts but when I turned it on to use it water and steam poured out of the handle grip area. Am I not doing something right? The manual says to attach the brush directly to the hand grip but I can't use it without getting burned. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
