I have had my shark steam cleaner for 6 months now and I love it, but I have hit a snag. I have not useed it for a cople weeks and when I plugged it in today - no steam. It seems to heat up, but there is no water coming out - the cleaning pad stays dry? Am I supposed to do some sort of regular cleaning of the water resovoir to prevent clogging or something?

After two years, my Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop, Model S3101, no longer ejects steam. I have used tap water. I think the line is clogged with mineral deposits. The light is on when plugged in, and the unit heats up. I even put in vinegar for about an hour to break up the calcium deposits, but it did not correct the problem. How do I fix it, or, where can I take it locally to be fixed (Orange County, CA)?

My steam pocket mop seems clogged. Steam does not come out of the mop head. The clog appears to be in the rectangular mop head. The triangular head still works fine. I've tried soaking it in hot water and soaking it with cleaning solutions. They have not worked. If I blow into the connection piece, no air goes through. That's what leads me to believe there is a clog. If you can help, please do. I like the product and haven't been able to use it for awhile because of this. Thanks.

I had the same issue with the rectangular mop and corrected it by disassembling the tube from the rectangular piece. For the first time, I tried using my Kirby Sentria shampoo attachment. I've lost the manual but found instructions online for making the swap from regular vac to shampoo-er and got it all assembled. The foam laid down just fine, however, when I run the vac back over the foam to pick it up, there is not a stitch of water showing up in the tray. First I thought maybe it was bc I hadn't put that much of the foam/water onto the carpet, but 12 hours later, the carpet is still wet in spots. Clearly
