Tons of water on the floor might mean that an internal hose or hose clamp has failed. Once you have it apart you can assess and replace the hoses by taking the bad hose to the auto parts store and asking for an appropriate sized replacement.

My Shark is less then one year old. The Shark steamer will heat up - the water is hot - however, when I push the handle to mop the steam is not released, then it cools down and only cold water is releases from the mop head.

Problem: mineral dleposits. Just fixed mine.... DO THIS OUTDOORS. Add 1/2 c CLR to the tank, let sit for an hour, turn on, allow to heat and pump. May have to refill with CLR and repeat. Solution number 2 works. however, you don't have to take it apart, the base plate has a steam hole in the center, just clean out with a paper clip. watch out for the residual steam, it actually helps clean out the mineral deposits ... Vacuums

My shark steamer has stopped working after a year of having it (I have already replaced one, I'm a idiot!). My problem; however, is that it will steam, but the steam stops traveling through the actual "mop" part. I plugged it in, wait seconds and start pumping, but the steam builds up until it's hard to pump. I had to press the button really hard for the bottom to come off and it shot off like a rocket! I tried to stick something through the tubing, but it did nothing. What am I doing wrong? I

I loved my Shark Steam Pocket Mop, but it suddenly stopped producing steam through the mop heads.
