Good day, I took off the cover on a proheat upright, to install the suction diverter flap. Guy at the shop told me I had to do this but I don't think it was really necessary. Anyway, I am having a real job getting the cover back on. The shampoo mix piston seems to be causing the problem seating the two halves correctly. I see no obvious "right: way to put the piston back in. can anybody help me. Thanks Richard


Hey Richard. Turn the shampoo mix dial so the spiral is all the way at the top when you are looking at it from underneath. then, you want the piston to seat in the top groove of the knob. You want the piston's end that jets out to fit in the space ... Vacuums

After removing the filter, I cannot get to battery on the Dirt Devil Kone M0213, there are two horizontal screws. Removing them does not help getting to the battery, no way to remove the insert where the battery is located.We have two of these, however they did not come with a manual for dis-assembly. The "projection" is against the "spring" when I install it, but I can rotate the bobbin case PAST the spring without trying very hard. I can't turn the belt off of my Kirby vacuum. I had the front off of it earlier to attach the hose, but now when I put the front back on, I can't get the belt to turn off. The lever twists about 3/4 of the way around, but will not go the rest of the way.
