Having problems with your Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum ?
The electric Foot keeps losing power have tried cleaning the arm connections but I think its in the foot itself
The problem may be in the motor itself, there may be a loose terminal screw or wire nut that makes the electrical connection to the power head motor. The motor in the power-head consists of two wires it is just a matter of disassembling the power-head. If the motor was shorted it would not function at all. Also check the strain relief of the pigtail lead that attaches the wand to the power-head.

Roomba Discovery Roomba is fully charged and cleaned with sensor wiped clean. When turned on it it sounds normal and commences to go, but it then acts like it is putting on the breaks, spins, tries to go and manages a short distance and breaks again, just not making any progress because it keeps breaking after a foot or so and turns and tries again. Sometimes is gets so stuck from moving forward at all, like it is stuck in one spot just trying to go while seemingly surrounded by barriers. Somet

I have a Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub... The last time I used the hand tool attachment, it worked fine. Just tried to use it again, and now I only drips of water will come out of the hand sprayer, if that. I have tried prepping it for up to 15 seconds like the manual says... no luck with that. Also it is making a big puddle on the floor, probably because the brushes on the main unit keep spinning when I am trying to use the hand tool which I dont think they are supposed to do? Can a
The brushes can be turned off on most of them via a switch on the hood. There shouldn't be water coming out onto the floor unless you are pulling the trigger at that top. You probably broke this when attempting to use the tools. ... Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub Upright Vacuum

Pfaff Creative 1459. When trying to wind a bobbin, I do what I've always done, turn the small round "wheel" on the right, slide the bobbing into the little knob that keeps it in place and gently press the foot thing on the floor that should start the bobbing to winding. The bobbin does not turn at all causing a loud whirring sound and the needle goes up and down as if it were making stitches. I finally got some thread onto the bobbin but it is not smooth and looks like a spider. I really nee
My Hoover Windtunnel Mach 6.9 brush roller quit working. Upon investigating I found that the idler arm pulley was broken so I managed to replace that. Before putting the cover back on I see the control knob for the roller brush moves a plastic piece left or right to activate/deactivate the brush roller. I don't know where this plastic piece connects. It appears to me that the idler are when raised creates tension on the belt which drives the roller. I'm at a loss trying to figure ou

My FIL purchased an Electrolux bagless canister vacuum model EL5 76501 last year. When I tried to use it today, the hose keeps pulling out of the power brush whenever I pull it towards me. it doesn't seem like anything has broken off. The only thing I noticed was that the rubber ring washer seems to be flattened. Could it be something that simple or do you think some part has fallen off and gone missing? Regards, Craig Somersett

Hoover Wind Tunnel U6458-900 Self Propel doesn't work - via other expert advice here for other models of Hoover - I'm thinking it is the actuator that needs to be replaced as I can see the cable does not connect to anything on the bottom. I'm using Miele Medivac vacuum and I just sucked in a small plastic eye drop container by accident(I sometimes take off the brush part to **** in 'small enough' articles). And it is jammed in the part where the plastic hose connector bends. I think I can take it out if I can just disconnect the long necked plastic hose connector that connects the metal wand part and the hose part. Is it designed to be disconnected or should I not even try it?

I was trying to repair my wife's kitchenaid mixer and took part of it apart, including the back part, where the electrical connections are. The original problem was the plastic gear was damaged -- I finally had the good sense to find the solution for that problem on the internet and replaced the damaged part. But now the mixer just won't turn on. I don't think I damaged anything in the electrical section, but I suspect I either blew a fuse or somehow disconnected something.

I have used my Steam Vac for carpeting, but until today, had never tried cleaning upholstery with the spin-scrub brush. I spent a miserable afternoon trying to control the spray, which seemed to go everywhere AROUND the furniture, but not ON the furniture! Additionally, I never did get the water into the recovery tank, despite many attempts to connect and re-connect the hoses and recovery tank/lid.
I can sympathize. My vac came with two handheld attachments. I have better luck with the handheld attachment that doesn't have the spin-scrub pads. Rainbow shampooer The soap dispenser on my Rainbow is not dispensing soap when I flip the switch to 'soap' mode. All connections are intact. All plastic hoses are intact. What do you think is going on? The soap bottle connects to a little straw that appears to be free of obstruction, however, it connects into a sealed casing on the hose.
