My Dyson DC25 got stuck and wouldn't return to the upright position, I figured out that one side had jumped the track and gotten stuck in the square hole below the track. I did not want to break the plastic to force it back, so I removed the screw on the right side that was holding the kick stand on and removed the kick stand, also a spring thing came out. Problem is, now I have no idea how to re-install the kickstand. Can't find a technical manual or video anywhere, it can't be very difficul

Replacement parts... I've got a 3594 Bissell and the belt has come completely off. In the process of breaking, it bent the metal guide inside the motor housing and melted the plastic that holds the guide and keeps the belt inline with the roller. I've got it running again by using a screw I filed all the threads off of, but it only works for 10 minutes at a time before breaking another belt. This process is getting expensive, as it usually takes 30 minutes to completely vacuum the house. Is ther

Miele S5000 (revolution 5000) vacuum cleaner - How do I open the casing? When the power button on the handle is pressed the green power-level lights on the handle light, but the motor sounds like it gives a little 'jump' but nothing more. The orange power light on the body also dims. I assume the motor or fan is jammed, but I can't open the body to find out. I've taken out to screws inside near either end of the handle, but to no apparent effect. I'm assuming the body is held together by plastic

Hi, I have a Dirt Devil Model # M08100REDC. I desperately need to change the bag, but I don't see an obvious way to do it. I'm afraid to try pulling on the cloth tab thingy that's just below the handle, between the rubber ring that holds the bag on the vac, because it seems like stuff will fly everywhere from the force required to remove it, and I might not be able to get it back on there. Should I just pull on that cloth tab until the bag comes off? Thanks, Roberta

You can pull on the tab to remove the bag, but probably a better way is to gently pull on the rubber ring that attaches the bag to the back of the vacuum body. If you don't yank and ****, it should come off without spilling the dirt. There may also b ... Dirt Devil Classic M08100 Bagged Handheld Vacuum

I have a Royal 7910 extractor and even though I vacuum before cleaning the carpet, by black cocker spaniel's hair gets pulled into the plastic pick-up attachment and I cannot find an easy way to clean it out. I have run water from a sink sprayer though the openings with some degree of success, but it still is pretty cruddy. I have tried snaking pipe smokers pipe cleaners up the pick

Chain tensioner Is it possible to change the chain tensioner of the Husqvarna 240 to a tool less chain tensioner or at least to the chain tensioner where the adjustment screw is accessed from the side not from the front. The problem is that there is a little plastic part that breaks rendering the chain tensioner useless. I have changed it twice and it keeps breaking. To change it you have to change the whole part that covers the break and chain mechanism.
