Having problems with your GE 106585 Upright Vacuum ?
I need a "Bearing Assembly" for roller brush 61445-1,I Have a GE 106575
\015 Hello,I Have a GE 106575,and to make a long story short,I need the "Bearing Assembly" for the brush roller 61445-1. The roller brush is in perfect condition except for one of the "Bearing Assembly's". It is not practical or wise to replace the whole roller brush because of 1 removable part that went bad. That would be like throwing good money down the drain. I can assume the "Bearing Assembly's" on this roller brush will need replacing every so often. So I need to know where I can purchase the "Bearing Assembly" for the brush roller 61445-1.Thank You Very Much,EarlsOK\015
Probably should just go to a repair shop and they should be able to order one for you, that is if they are available by themselfs. Or if you have a store where you live that sells vacuum parts, you could go there.

We have a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner, model Core 7. There is a switch that turns on and off the brush drive. This operates via a cam with a bearing putting pressure on the final drive belt to engage the brush head. There appears to be only a bearing deflecting the belt, should there be a pully or other device mounted on this bearing? There is so much slack a

Dc07 problem I have a dc07 cyclonic vaccum and like this model, however, for some reason,it has been very dificult to push and pull for the past month or so. i have completely cleaned the brush assembly, cleared any obstructions in the hoses, and, cleaned the filter.I also checked the belt tension, wich i thought was fine but to no avail.Be advised that the brush assembly is spinning and suction is excellent. In my (almost new) Dyson DC31 Animal the rolling brush tends to stop like the bearing was kind of difficult to turn. I opened the side carter and removed the little belt. Without the belt the engine runs regularly. I cleaned the little knots of hairs trapped in the bearing but still the brush runs for a while then stops, tries for a bit then stops again. I even tryed putting a bit of synthetic lubricant with apparently no result. Could it be a defective bearing? Thanks for your help.

My FEIN 9-55-'13 recently started making more noise and is now officially a "screamer". There also developed quite a vibration associated with the noise which made me think it was probably bearings. So I took it apart and found no detectable play or lateral movement in the bearings, they seem fine to me. So I thought perhaps the brushes. The rotor where the brushes ride is quite black but I can't figure out how to get to those brushes, although I don't really think they are causing the noise
This problem is only caused by one thing the motor bearings are noisy, I have never found any other reason, they may look good and fell good but trust me replace the motor and the noise ... Fein 9-55-13 Turbo II Bagged Canister Vacuum
