Having problems with your Hayden Industries SuperVac 2400 Central System Vacuum ?

I have replaced the circuit board twice on my hayden 2400 and after working for 24 hours the circuit board then fails, with no signs of it tripping. Everything is wired in correctly the supplier is unsure of the problem but leading up to me replacing the circuit board the machine itself had became intermittent switching on and off while hoovering

Answers :

Disconnect the wiring from the unit, and go back and plug in your hose.
\012
\012Get a volt tester and test the voltage coming from the lines at the machine. It should read 0 volts. Check both AC and DC voltage.
\012
\012Also, check the same setup if you have a security system. Arm the security system (or have someone do it for you) and test the voltage at the line again. Again it should read 0.
\012
\012If both come up 0 volts, the security and the hose I mean, unplug the hose and try one more time again AC and DC volts.
\012
\012The only other thing i could see it being is a problem with the motor, if the unit is 7-10 years or more, it may need a set of motor brushes for the motor.
\012
\012Let me know how this goes.

I fear the motor has failed on my Electrolux Oxygen EL6988D. Just six months after the warranty expired, I was vacuuming when it suddenly stopped. There was no blockage in the tube and it wasn't working hard or long . . . it just stopped. I looked around the Internet and it appeared that many similar Electrolux units have a fuse. I hoped my problem might just be a blown fuse, so I took the machine apart. There are two small printed circuit boards, but no fuse. There is an in-line

Hi,\015\012\015\012I don't think you need a new motor, but please stop testing the machine with live power. It's dangerous and unnecessary. I have an Eureka Express canister vacuum - I believe it's model 8284 - that just stopped working. Plug it in, turn it on, and absolutely nothing happens. I took it to the local sew and vac place and they say it's a circuit board that is no longer available. I've looked at all the parts lists and diagrams for that vacuum and I would swear there isn't a circuit board there. (I wouldn't have even thought that in 1989 they would have used circuits.) In any case, I absolutely love this machine a

The battery will not charge in the sweeper. I can remove the battery and wire it to the power supply for charging and it will charge up and run the sweeper. So the power supply and the battery are both good. Obviously there is a circuit failure in the on board charging control. Anyone know a fix or a likely faulty component? I just bought a Hoover Platinum Collection MaxExtract Carpet Cleaner (Model No. F8100900). This is the first time I've used it and got half way through one room and the unit cut off and has no power at all. No lights anywhere. On/Off button is inoperable. I checked the outlet and it's still operating so it's not a circuit breaker issue. The problem appears to be with the machine. Has anyone heard of this happening this quickly? Is there a reset button on the machine>

My filter queen majestic quit working. I opened up the unit to see what was wrong and I did not immediately notice anything wrong. Upon furter examination I noticed one of the traces on the printed circuit card was burnt. I used a soldering iron to "bridge the trace and it appeared to fix the problem for a while. Now it has stopped working again, and when I jumper the trace to run the motor it seems to work. Should I just replace the card? Or is there a more serious problem with too much current

My Ultralux 2000 vacuum power head does not work on my machine but does work on a different machine. What are the possilbe problems? I tried replacing the hose with a new one and that didn't help.

It's probably due to bad wiring connections between the wands, hose and wand, or power nozzle and wand. If it came with the Sidekick, try using it on the end of the hose. If not, simply try using the power nozzle on the end of the hose (no wands). ... Electrolux Eureka Easy Clean 2 in 1 Stick and Handheld Vacuum Model 108A 1 ea
