I am trying to find somewhere to get spare parts (in particular the small detail brush) for this two-year-old steam cleaner. It appears that Domotec no longer have a UK distributor but I think they do still exist somewhere in Europe.

Domotec does not exists anymore , however you can buy from www.espares.co.uk : Vax Steamer Nylon Brush (ES956244) which is similar to the one supplied with Domotec steam cleaner. ... Vacuums

My Dyson DC17 has lost suction on the wand and is not picking up dirt as it should. I have taken the small part at bottom of the machine off to see if there is a blockage--none that I can see. The flexible tube on wand is very tight and won't extend very much. Dyson sent me a new cyclonic part in April but the machine still doesn't seem to be working properly. My serial number is 260-us-d11545. Is there somewhere I can take my Dyson to get it fixed. I'm very frustrated with it. Thank you.

ShopVac pump The waterhose connection is up high. The only way to get the water up to the level of the hose is to continually hold down the on button due to the automatic shut off after it fills to a certain level. On the bottom of the filter there is a hole. I am thinking there should be a small hose of some sort to put into that hole that would then lead up to the level of the water hose. Concept makes sense to me. But in the meantime, good old duct tape seems to have done the trick. Not exact

I have a Dyson Animal upright (purple). I took it apart to clean the cyclone chambers. When re-assembling the bottom closed before the opening rod was inserted. I can't get the opening rod installed with the bottom opening closed. How do I open it? Thanks.

I looked in our DC07. I would try removing the top again and getting a long dowel or the opening rod, insert it down into the unit and PUSH. The opening rod opens the latch by pushing it, not pulling it. Here are some pictures of the latch. Top pi ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

My electrolux ambassador power wand quit working. I replaced the switch that shuts it off when the roller stops, but it wasn't the problem. The on/off switch is fine, the motor is fine. We have traced the problem to the wires inside the canister by opening the inside cover to the bag container. We see the power cords going into the canister but we're not able to get to anything. We can't find any screws to undo that would open it up in order to follow the wires deep into the canister. We've bypa

Hoover Mach 6 U5198-900 vacuum roller brush won't turn. I had opened the bottom to clean hair off the roller. the belts are not broken. When I closed it and turned it on, now the roller brush won't turn. I can push and turn it by hand, but not easily. Then I noticed the brush on/off switch is turned off, but when I step on it, it won't turn on. I was thinking I let something get out of place when I opened the bottom, but can't see what.

Motor wiring My Vax VS19TL motor died and I have managed to get hold of a new Vax 006 Turboforce motor which is the same size . My problem is that the original motor had two wires (black and white) which ran to the PCB switch. The new motor has three wires (black, white and yellow). I have ordered the PCB wiring loom for the 006 motor but I can't find any documentation that tells me where each wire goes. Can anyone help?

I need to wire the switch to my coleman 2234 push button 12v water pump in my camper trailer. it is wired to the battery now with the "red" connected through a small fuse. i just cant figure out where to wire the on/off switch to.

Hi there. When connecting a switch, it is important to remember that a switch will only "break" the positive (+) circuit, while the neutral wire will go directly to the battery. So, basically split the red wire coming from your pump and connect the s ... Coleman Vacuums

I have an open in the black wire leading down to the carpet sweeper (after the handle), thus the motor wont turn on. how do i get to the wiring to re-run a black wire?

Did you test the wire with the switch in the "ON" position. If not, try it before opening the handle. \015\012The problem is more likely to be a worn out or broken switch, including a reset switch.\015\012Also try connecting the hose di ... Kenmore 28015 Bagged Canister Vacuum

I have a new (couple of months) Cuisinart Espresso Maker EM-100C. One has to turn on the power button on the front in order for the unit to heat the water. The button will only work if the two manual knobs are in a certain position. Very occasionally, it took a few tries to get the button to turn on. Now it usually does not work but will once in a while. Any ideas what we could do to repair this problem?

Our plug got pulled out (by driving away while the canister was still plugged-in after a vacuuming the car). How can we open up the unit to reattach the wires? We accessed two sets of screws (2pairs) toward the bag-end (not the motor-end) of the canister, but we can't locate any access for the two other apparent screws inside the body.

Remove all visible screws. Top and bottom, then once they are all removed, take a flat-head screwdriver and slowly pry around the canister until it comes completely loose and can be removed. Then you should have access to the wires which can then be ... Electrolux EL7020A Oxygen 3 Ultra Canister Vacuum Cleaner Bagged Vacuum
