Suction Problem I just borrowed the Hoover Steam Vac Deluxe w/ 5 brush agitator from my neighbor and it worked ok for the first few minutes, although the suction would stop and go. When I had enough water to dump I did it and when I put it back on it no longer sucked the water up from the carpet. She admits to having it for 15 years, but why did it have to break on me. My Steam Vac F59149 will not vacuum up the cleaning solution. I have checked the usual culprits. The dirty water tank is empty, the yellow float is not up too high. This is a relatively new appliance, so the way for the water is not blocked, there is just no suction. The warm air is blowing, the brushes are spinning. What next?
