Miele Blue moon vacuum motor surging on and off and power light flashing. With cleaning carpets with the Stowaway when the head gets a blockage it makes a high pitched whining sound and requires unblocking - then works fine. Now when vacuuming the head always makes the same sound when the head is against the carpet. you can also see that the rollers are slow or stopped. The brush wouldn't work when the selector switch was in carpet mode. Took the power head apart and removed the motor. Everything o.k. in the power head. Checked and found that the neutural wire had pulled out of the connector, the connector was never crimped at the factory. What a day! Took 2 hours and a large pizza to get it done. Neutral wire was in the hose just below the handle. Reconnected the wire and crimped it, put everything back together. It works!!!!
