Recovery tank empty where do you look to see where the hair ball is so i can clean it
When dirty water does not go into my hoover f9514-900 recovery tank, I take the tank out turn it upside down or shake it to get the ball to settle at the top, then it works. when the ball is down it will not work.

Suction Problem I took my unit to my work and used it, when I returned home it wouldn't suck up anything. I took the recovery take out and it has inward suction. Shouldn't that be outward, so it goes into the tank? It also blows out of the bottom by the brushes. I check the filter in the bottom and that is fine. Is it possible that it is somehow reversed the direction of the air flow (rotor running backwards)? I am perplexed. What am I missing?

There is a stand pipe seal where the bucket sits on, and if it isn't there or out of place could cause a suction problem like you said yours is doing. In the picture it is #10. The motor seal may have gone bad and is leaking # 15.\015\012 ... Hoover F7220900 SteamVac V2 Upright Vacuum

I have a hoover F5915-900. Today when I got it our to use it I noticed that it was leaking. I did some troubleshooting, but not sure where to go from here. The solution tank leaks out if the recovery tank is connected also. If I remove the recovery tank and leave the solution tank on it does not leak. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I've a Tefal Steam Generator Express Turbo 2910. It won't "steam". The solenoid works when the button is pressed. The pump works. I've cleaned the tank (with white vinegar as recommended on this site!) thoroughly. The water from the steam tank is only "hot" (not scalding as I'd expect it to be). When first switched on and hot enough there is the TINIEST whiff of steam when the button is pressed then nothing more. Do you think this could be the Thermostat Part CS00094126, or can you

My Kirby shampooer - G4 - hardly used any water from the tank and no suds at all. Pet hair did blow out of the small slotted holes in the tray as I moved the shampooer back and forth, but the carpet was basically dry. The small screen was stuck in the crook of the hose that attached to the tank so I did get that out and put it on the small hole on the tank, but it didn't make any difference. I

I have used my Steam Vac for carpeting, but until today, had never tried cleaning upholstery with the spin-scrub brush. I spent a miserable afternoon trying to control the spray, which seemed to go everywhere AROUND the furniture, but not ON the furniture!
