Poor suction...continued Wow, thanks for answering so quickly! To answer your question, yes, there is suction at the screen, but it is very weak. I keep that screen clean. As a side note, I noticed that when I remove the top clear plastic cover (that would be part # 37 on the diagram, as far as I can tell) there is decent suction coming from the intake there--part 36? 30? it's hard to tell. But with the cover on, I feel no suction (from where it sucks up the water directly from the carpet),

Wish I had it in my shop, it is hard to figure your problem. I do know that you must have something out of place and you may have to take it apart to find it. Suction button Although my Hoover Spin scrub is working perfecting dispensing the solution, when I go to suck up the solution from the carpet--I am having problems with the RED suction button that keeps popping up. I have to stop the cleaner and lift up the dirty water container to break the suction. Ive tried cleaning the netting that is encased around it, but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Little green machine pro heat pet the collection tank wasn't collection and dirty water was coming out of the bottom. i took it apart, cleaned it up and put a new "duckbill" gasket in. then it quit spraying, but i think i got that working again. now after i spray and get a good foam on the carpet, i switch to suction and it seems very weak. i can see the water moving (trickling) from the head into the hose but it is not reaching the collection tank -- actually, i am not sure where its goin

Have Hoover F7452900 spin vac carpet shampooer and brushes won't spin. The screen by the brushes is clean and they are place in position to clean on carpet. I noticed that when I have the brushes out of the machine and turn it on that the white square that is on the base of the machine does not spin--this is where part of the brush connector fastens to make bristles spin.

I have a Bissell Pro 2x carpet cleaner. The water heats properly as well as spraying the cleaning product. However, when I go to suction the water from the carpets, the 2 in 1 water tank bladder works properly but there is no dirty water outside the bladder. I have only used this carpet cleaner ~ 5 times and in the beginning I had to empty the suctioned water quite frequently as it was dirty and it could not not hold any more water. So I have done 1 room and all the dirt remains in the carpet

Check that the suction cone is not blocked. Check that the filter or hose to the bladder isn't blocked as well. ... Vacuums

Water is not being discharged. I have filled the reservoir that holds the carpet cleaner fluid And I have filled the water container. I know how to use the cleaner, it has always worked, But now, no water is being discharged to the carpet. I turn it on, squeeze the trigger, but nothing comes out. The wheel that is suppose to spin (to indicate that water is being discharged) is not spinning. Everything else works. I.e. the suction works, and the hand held accessories work.

I have the Hoover max Extract 77 and when I'm cleaning the carpet, the clean water tank leaks on the floor, even if I'm not squeezing the trigger. The clean tank doesn't leak when I fill it, but once I place it where it fits and start using the vacuum, the clean water drains out on the floor. The dirty tank fills up, so the suction works, but, I don't know what is going on?

No suction I have the central vac type. It has no suction at the can. I pulled the hose going to the walls and tested there...and nothing.
