Having problems with your Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub Upright Vacuum ?

I have a Hoover steam vac spin scrub and with the attachment the water sprays out continuously reagardless if I press the button.

Answers :

Just had this problem. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to tug up on the white nozzle at the end of the attachment. It should slide up about 1/4 of an inch and then you should be good to go. Be careful not to snap the plastic.

Hi, I've a Tefal Steam Generator Express Turbo 2910. It won't "steam". The solenoid works when the button is pressed. The pump works. I've cleaned the tank (with white vinegar as recommended on this site!) thoroughly. The water from the steam tank is only "hot" (not scalding as I'd expect it to be). When first switched on and hot enough there is the TINIEST whiff of steam when the button is pressed then nothing more. Do you think this could be the Thermostat Part CS00094126, or can you

While using, steam stopped coming out in force at the port levels in the head. Suddenly started high pitch whining, pressed button just above connection site and end flew off with great force pouring water onto floor and carpet. Unplugged immediately for safety and unable to get it to deliver steam force again. Less than one year old and used only 8-10 times only in walk areas where there is no carpet with distilled water. Please, advise, cannot find booklet. Thanks So Much, Beverly Crumme

The rinse option works (sprays and sucks properly), but the wash cycle doesn't at all-neither soap nor water comes out. Nothing comes out, but it still sucks. I took everything o
