Check for suction. Turn it over and start to see if the brushes are turning. If they are not then the flywheel on the blower motor has ripped loose from the motor shaft and it will have to be replaced. It is made of aluminm and does not last long. Mine lasted 13 monthy. Just out of warranty ! go figure.

I have a Bissell Pro 2x carpet cleaner. The water heats properly as well as spraying the cleaning product. However, when I go to suction the water from the carpets, the 2 in 1 water tank bladder works properly but there is no dirty water outside the bladder. I have only used this carpet cleaner ~ 5 times and in the beginning I had to empty the suctioned water quite frequently as it was dirty and it could not not hold any more water. So I have done 1 room and all the dirt remains in the carpet

My Bissell Pro Heat Select 2X does not pull up the dirt from the carpet into the water. The water just slowly disappears. The first time I used it the water got really dirty. The very next time I used it it worked differently and the water just disappeared until it was all gone. I've only used it a couple times and I don't see where it is working. Has anyone else had this problem?

Dear Sir: I just purchased a Bissell Rug Shampooer at a garage sale. The only thing I find for a model is on the back and it says Model 1695 there. Nothing on front. It is Navy blue and has a grey tank on it with a smaller one inserted at bottom of the large tank. It has two switches on the back of it and the trigger switch at the handle. The cleaner works, BUT, it does not extract any water back into the tank that is to pick up the dirty water. Could you suggest what I may look at t

My Hoover SteamVac has been doing a wonderful job but in two instances, after emptying the dirty water and reattaching the reservoir, the machine has lost suction. The first time I was able to make it work again after taking it apart and putting it back together about 10 times. I don't know what I did that fixed it but as long as it worked again, I was happy. But it's happened again and I can't get it to vacuum. I can see that it isn't clogged. Can you please help me????

I have the Hoover max Extract 77 and when I'm cleaning the carpet, the clean water tank leaks on the floor, even if I'm not squeezing the trigger. The clean tank doesn't leak when I fill it, but once I place it where it fits and start using the vacuum, the clean water drains out on the floor. The dirty tank fills up, so the suction works, but, I don't know what is going on?

My Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum is not working. The red (empty) light stays on even though its full and it doesn't produce any steam. I doubt that the water is getting down into the heating chamber. How easy is it to take apart and clean or can I just blow compressed air through it? Any help most appreciated. You can probably just blow it out with the air compressor. If you have a air pressure regulator on the air compressor then I would turn it down to about 30-40 psi. Then try to blow out the line. ... Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum
