Having problems with your Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum - Blue ?

My hoover has no suction at the nozzle, though it has strong suction at the hose. This problem started after I replaced the vacuum bag for the first time.

There is a blockage behind the roller brush remove the roller plate and the roller and check the inlet hose for a blockage also remove the bag and chek the inlet to the bag for some type of obstruction. Don the Vacuum Doctor Alb, N.M.
I had the same problem and after replacing the belt it started working great again. The belt was not cracked but it was stretched out which didn't let the brush spin at it's normal speed. The suction underneath wasn't the problem, it was the brush not spinning at its normal rate when it met some resistance (the carpet).

I have bought new Hoover bags on two occasions. The first spares I bought were the Xxxl variety and I didn't think they fitted that well. The next spares I bought were the type g megafilt. My Riccar 1700 will intermittently lose power while vacuuming. I have had the vacuum for 4 years and this is the second time that I have had this problem. We have two of these vacuums and both of them have experienced the same problems.
