Having problems with your Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum - Blue ?

I cleaned out the hose and removed brush to clean and checked belt. Everything seems to work but will not pick up or suction on carpet. The hose is totally clear from clogs. I can see the floor from one end to the other. What am I missing that might be causing lack of suction?

I see that your Vacuum is having issues with it suction, you mentioned that you took it a part to clean it, see steps below.

  • Check if everything is inserted properly and is in place.
  • \015\012
  • make sure the the Vacuum airflow does not have anywhere else to come out from, cause if there is, the vacuum suction will really not be really getting enough suction to be able to get dirt Off the floor.

  • Make sure the bag is correctly placed in the Vacuum and is tucked in properly for proper suction.
  • \015\012
  • The hose should be twisted to be locked into Place, either clock wise or counter clockwise which ever makes it lock to the hose socket.
  • \015\012
  • Also check the agitator shield beneath making sure that the Belt is not pinched in or squished by the Agitator and the Agitator shield, this can also cause lack of suction for the Vacuum.

First the floor heighth adjustment doesn't work and now neither one will pick up on either carpet or floor when in the brush/floor mode. They both seem to work with the suction hose function.
