Hoover doesn't suck well
\015 My hoover windtunnel Mach 6.1 doesnt suck small particles anymore. Or sometimes it does suck up particles but then drops them off in other places. I even replaced the bag and made sure the hose was clean as well as under the vacuum. Any suggestions?\015
Did you check the inlet from the bottom? Take the bottom plate off, make sure that the tube(inlet)is free of any clogs. Also if the belt is stretched, then it won't drive the brush roll like it should, replace it part #38528033.

Havent used for about two years. I had to put the belt on it. It doesnt seem to be sucking up very well and after about 15 minutes of vaccuuming the bag was empty. My house got really dusty. I know the rollers were spinning because i looked. I could hear some dirt going in but could definatly tell it wasnt working properly. Is it in reverse or something?
After two years you need to make sure the bag is connected properly and inspect it for tears and that the hoses are connected correctly and not deteriorated. Make sure the hose is clear. You should be able to feel the suction at the end of the hose. ... Vacuums

I have a new Hoover Dual V steam vac that I bought from a neighbor who only used it once. I have only used it once since then and it worked great. This time, because I am pregnant, I bought some non-toxic cleaner that was much thicker than the very watery Hoover soap. This vac has a wash option and a rinse option. The rinse option works (sprays and sucks properly), but the wash cycle doesn't at all-neither soap nor water comes out. Nothing comes out, but it still sucks. I took everything o

I have a Kirby G4. I have noticed the last few days when trying to vacuum that it is blowing more than it is sucking up. I put on a new bag to make sure it wasn't too full. I also put on the hose and noticed it's not sucking as well as normal. I unzipped the back of the bag holder and noticed the bag isn't inflating as it should be as well. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I was using my Henry Hoover as usual. When i sucked up quite a fair sized puddle of water. The hoover instantly cut out and a strange burning smell was coming from it. Would this be the fuse, motor etc ? Or would it be worth my while just replacing the entire hoover ?

Hi The band snapped the other day on my Vax Swift Turbo upright hoover and i got a new band from a Hoover repair centre. (Im assuming the bloke sold me the correct band). Was tight to go on. And it seemed ok. However, after switching on the band snapped immediately. Kinda burnt as well (at the point it snapped). Any ideas as to what the problem is here? The hoover is roughly 2 years old and used around 3 times per week. thanks Mike

Hi I’ve got a Panasonic vacuum cleaner MC E468 1600W a few years old now but works well up to recent problem. Not picking up I checked the obvious things and found excessive air being sucked in around the hose housing at the back of the vacuum (as it enters the waste bag) On inspection it appears to me as if there should be some sort of gasket that may have perished and been sucked in, however I can’t identify any such part. Any thoughts on what the problem/solution may be will be appreciate
