I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don't know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage

On the back of my lg kompressor vacuum below the retractable cord is a suction plug that keeps sucking in when the vacuum is turned on it is supposed to stay out the increase suction. what is the solution for this problem.

Remove the hose fitting on the lower back of the vacuum and you will probably find a large amount of debris lodged in the hose. That hose leads to an opening right behind the main roller brush. The carpet cleaning portion of the vacuum sucks debris up poorly, and during the whole time I have it on carpet, the hose continues to have strong suction. The vacuum also spits out what its vacuumed up.

The vacuum does not **** in dirt. It is blowing air instead. Yet when I disconnect the vacuum from the cannister, the suction seems very strong. I took it to a vacuum repairman, and he said that Kenmore sucks and I might as well get rid of it. (He wanted to sell me another one) It is 10 years old, but if I can fix it I would like to try.

I have a Eureka Pet Pal and it seems to have lost suction on the main part of the vacuum. It looks like it sucked something up before it happened so I'm fairly sure that the tube is clogged but I don't know how to take the vacuum apart so that I can clear it out. LOSING SUCTION IT APPEARS WHEN IN UPRIGHT POSITION, ALTHOUGH SUCKING (TO SOME DEGREE) IT THROWS BACK SMALL PIECES TO THE BACK OF THE VACUUM OPNTO THE CARPET BEHIND, AND THE CONTAINER HOLDING THE STUFF ISNT WHIRLING AROUND THE CONTAINER. I WONDER IF THE PASSAGE TO THE WIND TUNNEL IS BLOCKED, AND OF COURSE THAT IS THE PART I CANNOT GET TO, AS IT NEEDS A SPECIAL TOOL TO UNSCREW THE BACK OF THE VACUUM.

No suction vacuum won't pick up -- I've checked the bag, hose...and it seems to have no sucking power. The internal hose may be jammed (I vacuumed up a lot of shredded paper), but nothing as far as I can stick in fingers in. I don't have a metal coat hanger to slip down, but I'm afraid that might tear the hose and then the darn thing won't work anyway. :o(

If it is plugged, try using a tape measure, i know it sounds stupid but it will work to unplug your line and will not tear your hose.. ... Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum

The bottom bar that encases the brush is flush to the floor when using the vacuum. This causes the suction to "stick" the vacuum to the floor (lamenate) and also as there is no ground clearance debris is just pushed around. We have to nearly stand the thing upright to get the ground clearance to be enough for things to start being sucked up. I have taken apart, re-assembled etc and nothing is working.

I have an old Miele canister vacuum and I do not know how to disassemble the hose to check for a clog. I think it sucked up a nerf ball the size of a ping pong ball. I changed the bag but it did isn't appear to be in the bag.
