Having problems with your Hoover U6437-900 / U6439-900 Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum ?
Hoover vac 6432-900 reverse cable broke this model # is correct about 12 years old wind tunnel bagged self propelled
The quick and easy here is to just splice the cable and tape it. If you just cut the insulation back to get to the wire and get a couple 'barrel connector' at the hardware store. These are crimp style connectors and you need a small crimper to put the wire in and crimp it down tight. Then tape it up and it will work fine.

On my hover U6616-900 the self propell work fine on the med setting on med height carpet, but when I go to low height carpet and height set on med the self propell does not pull the vacuum and it is hard to push. Also if I raise the height to the highest setting the self propell works correctly and appears to clen. Any ideas? S/N 090400184555, think this vacuum is maybe 5 years old and my wife uses it lots. Should I think of maybe a complete overhaul or a replacement at this time?

The product bar below did not contain my model no. The correct model no. is above in my message. Thanks

I have an old Shop Vac model 3331.5. This is a 12 gallon 1.5 hight peak shop vac with a detachable blower. After many years I decided to use the blower feature, but have lost the lost the manual. Question; how do I attach the hoses to the blower? The motor has that cap on it the direct the flow of air in one direction and the wide hoses do not fit over it. I may be missing a part, but I would think the directional cap would have to come off anyway.
Remove the cap that directs the air and insert the hose in there. ... Vacuums
My Oregon Scientific BAR888 has 5 windows, 1. temperature, 2. humidity, 3. mb/hPa or inHg (switch at the back), 4. bars showing pressure changes over 24 hours, and 5. time/date. Oregon say they only have one set of instructions for the BAR888 but they do not match my instrument as there is nothing included for my window 3. After two years, my Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop, Model S3101, no longer ejects steam. I have used tap water. I think the line is clogged with mineral deposits. The light is on when plugged in, and the unit heats up. I even put in vinegar for about an hour to break up the calcium deposits, but it did not correct the problem. How do I fix it, or, where can I take it locally to be fixed (Orange County, CA)?

I have a Shark Steam Mop, model S3101, that caught on fire. Looks as though a wire inside rubbed until it became exposed and then caught fire. I have had this unit for about 1 1/2 to 2 years; liked the concept of steaming my floors rather than using detergents. I am not happy though about spending $100 on this unit and then it only lasted this long.

Folks, My wife and I own a three-year-old Hoover U6434-900 self-propelled "Wind Tunnel" upright vacuum cleaner. The problem is that, even on the highest setting (front-end as high as possible), it gets bogged-down in even shallow pile carpet to the point that the brush stops. I've cleaned the machine thoroughly, pulling hair, thread, dental floss and such from the brush (and everywhere else), including unscrewing the brush end caps and pulling out the cat hair mats which formed in there.
Check to see if the V belt sits too deep in the brushroll groove, if it sits too deep you will need to replace the brushroll. the top of the belt should be about flush with the brushroll. also you have to take the screws out of the self propelled uni ... Vacuums
I just purchased a westclox tech model 70014 yesterday. I read the instructions and set the time. About an hour later, the time reverted back two hours. I read the instructions again and repeated setting the correct time. I assumed it was working. However, I woke up by myself today at 5:30am, but the clock read 1:14. Is there any way I can fix this or is it a manufacturing defect?
