From the underside:\015\0121. remove 4 screws holding agitator cover in place\015\0122. remove 2 screws (black screws) holding hose retainer in place, pull hose out through top\015\0123. remove three screws, 2 long, 1 short holding top cover: short screw is at center of inside of brush housing, long screws are inboard of wheel axles, and slightly forward (all of these screws are aluminum colored)\015\0124. from inside surface of each side, at approx the center, locate and push down on ledge inside right and left inside with a screwdriver to slightly displace the plastic ledge that holds the cover on; this ledge-lock-detent can be released with your fingers. You'll have to support the drive mechanism to allow the top housing to drop free.\015\0125. remove housing, turn vacuum over, then go find the torx driver you need to disconnect the cable.\015\012Good Luck\015\012MB\015\012http://in4m8ion.com
