Having problems with your Hoover U8145-900 Savvy Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

It is me again...

\015 Ok, thank you for the help! I did have the top off, but did not know\015\012the taking the motor loose trick, thank you for that! Now I have a\015\012couple of more questions, and thank you so much for all of the help! I\015\012got a belt from sears, & the sales guy sold me an off brand belt. \015\012It looks just like the belt that broke, although do you have to force\015\012the motor back down into place? I think it may be the wrong belt? I\015\012have looked on the Hoover website & they do not even have parts\015\012listed for this vacuum? Is this the timing belt, or do you by chance\015\012know the model number? Thanks :)\015

Answers :

If it a Savvy, then it is the timing belt, part # 91001028. If this is a V2, then there is no belt.
