I have a Hoover WindTunnel Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, Model #U5753-900, Serial number 110600215585, which I purchased from Loew's on 3/31/07. With it, came a Hoove Slider for hard floor surfaces, Model #S2105, Serial number 050500084989. The Slider strted making a noise--I thought something had been caught in the roller, but discovered, it had not; so I and my husband proceeded to take the Slider apart. I used my Hoover FloorMate, SpinScrub Hard Floor Cleaner for the first time today. My intent was to clean the grout in my kitchen/family room floor. Since the water was dirty I know it cleaned the grout but I was only so-so pleased with the results. Any hints? What about the grout solution? Do you mean I can only use the Hoover product?

The Hoover model 800 has seperate brush assembly to do grout. The 500 model (yours) has only the one hight brushes so other means must be taken to do grout. I have a 500 and all tile floors and I'm bumbed too.\015\012\015\012Kirk Thompson ... Hoover Floormate H3000 Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum

Hoover F5809 Hello, I seen a few of your post and was hoping you could help me. I just became a member today. My sister gave me her old Hoover Steam Vac-Model F5809. This thing is so dirty and clogged because my sister has pets. So far I've gotten it all taken apart to clean it. I'm not a newbie and taking apart and fixing things. I have fixed things like microwaves, washers, dryers, dishwashers (still learning about TV's-very hard, hehe). Anyway, I got what I believe to be the motor cover off.

That cover is the called the fan cover and is usually pressed on. Tapping on the edge with a flat blade, you may be able to get it off and hope you don't bend it up, you will to put it back on tight enough so it will stay in place. Another thing to ... Vacuums
