Having problems with your iRobot Roomba 530 Robotic Vacuum ?

IRobot 530 charges intermittently

\015 The iRobot docks and appears to charge. The light turns green, but when the iRobot is started it runs slowly and then quickly stops as if the battery has not been charged. The power brick is putting out a steady 22V. There is no difference in charging if the power brick is plugged directly into the iRobot unit. Is there something in the charging circuitry in the iRobot itself that could be causing this intermittent problem.\015

Reset the Roomba: hold down "spot" and "dock/demo" for fifteen seconds, then release and listen for the tune. Then charge the Roomba overnight. The next time you run it, the unit should run longer. If not, call support and let them know you may have a battery problem. 1-877-855-8593 (I strongly encourage you to have the Roomba with you if you call.)

Irobot discovery Hi, My irobot discovery charges fine, shows green (fully charged), starts running and flashes amber, then finally after about ten minutes stops and shows sold red.

It sounds like the battery is shot. These batteries only work for a couple of years and then they won't accept a charge any more. A common mistake people make is recharging them before they need it. This will make the battery "lazy"\015\012Cont ... iRobot Roomba 4210 Bagless Robotic Vacuum

My robot will not charge. Tried multiple resets and new battery from irobot.com (both suggested by Irobot customer service) but got nowhere. The vacuum did work for a short time (until the new partially charged battery ran out). If I bypass the internal charging circuits and charge directly from the charger (with jumpers) the robot seems to work fine. Unfortunatey, there is no mechanism to turn off the charge cycle, so this is not practical.

My 400 series Discovery Roomba will no longer charge. It shows a green "charged" light, but when I hit clean, all lights/vacuum, etc just go out and it stops. Irobot says that the entire unit needs to be replaced, but it has to have something to do with the charging mechanism. Any Ideas? I've tried the system reset, and removing/replacing the battery. No effect. The robot doesn't give me the "uh-oh" beeps to be charged. It just stops and goes dead.

I have a multifunction robotic auto vacuum cleaner model number XR210. It doesn't seem to be charging when at the docking station. The light is flashing on the docking station as if it was charging, but then I am getting intermittent noises like the vacuum is about to start up, then it beeps and goes silent again. I have emptied the machine. The display does not read 88 as if there is a malfunction, so I'm really not sure what's wrong with it. If I put the vacuum to the docking station the displ

My irobot scooba does not spray cleaning solution out after about the first 30 seconds it is running. I have tried all the suggestions in this post with the suction bulb to charge with air, and then with water to clean it out. water does come out of both valves when forced with the bulb or immediately after using the bulb to charge it. then after it runs for about 30 seconds the floor is dry.
