Having problems with your iRobot Roomba 560 Robotic Vacuum ?

My Roomba 560 has started to run in small steps as if it constantly meets an obstacle and turns around in a very small circle. It advances slightly, backs slightly and turns and then does this again and again.

Answers :

Sounds like your Roomba has the Circle Dance Error. Here is the fix for the Circle Dance.
It probably does think its met an obstacle. It could be the bump sensor switch remains pressed, one of the 4 cliff sensors on the front is dirty, or one of the 3 wheel drop sensors (left right and caster) is alarmed. Clean the sensors and your problem may resolve.

Engine troubles I have a 1975 4x4 GMC full size van. The motor is a 350 cid small block on propane. The thing hadn't been running in 5 years and when I tuned it up I changed vacuum advance pod on HEI distributor and hooked to a better vacuum and now the hotter it gets the faster it idols and when I try and turn the timing back, it starts hard. Wondering if vacuum is too strong or what is up?

I haven't fixed it yet but I think I might have a solution for it. From the factory this thing had a 4 barrel carb and they put an equivalent size atomizer in it for the propane and over the years someone omitted the EGR system in it and propane is a ... Vacuums

I sucked up a sock into the carpet attachment of my electrolux 3500 series and the carpet attachment cut off. After the sock was easily removed (it was only wrapped around the brush part) I reattached the carpet attachment, turned the vacuum on and flipped the switch to turn the carpet attachment back on, but it won't come back on. How can I fix it?

For some reason, when I tried to put the floor vacuum attachment back on and vacuum the carpet, I realized that the belt was not engaging. the belt is in there and not broken, but it is not turning the beater brush. it is just hanging loose around the brush. When I turn the wheel to engage the brush, it picks the belt up, but when I attach the vacuum to the attachment, the brush is just not turning.

Brushes won't turn on the bissell proheat 2X steam cleaner-I don't have the manual to see if there is a button I am not pushing to turn on the brushes. Also, do you put the clean water in the "bladder" in the tank? Sorry I am so dumb-this cleaner was given to me with no manual and I can't figure it out. There is a small tank on the bottom at the back of the machine, that says "formula here" and I don't know if that is where the cleaner goes or what that is for. The machine turns on just fine

My Bissell Model 3760-4 is not working properly. The belt has been replaced (and checked 3 times), but the brush bar does not move when the brush motor button is on. The little metal turning piece that turns the belt is turnable with one's finger when the belt is off, but when we put it all back together and turn on the vacuum, the brush bar does not go around and the burning belt smell returns. The portable part of the machine works properly. It's the brush bar. It has been cleared of hair, etc

I have a Kenmore Progressive upright model 216-37100800. It is only around 1.5 years old. My wife said that one day after she plugged it and turned it on, it whirred up but then shut off. Since then it will not start. I have noticed that right after I plug it in, if I try to turn it on, the first yellow light in the series of dirt sensor lights turns on then shuts off. After that the light will not light up on pressing the power button, unless I unplug it and plug it back in again. I have seen o

I have a Eureka Upright vacuum (4800 Series). When I try to start it by turning the switch on, it wont. For few days, I was able to get around this problem by repeatedly turning the switch on and off until it turned on but that does not work any more. Could it be something related to the switch it self or the power cable. My wife mentioned that one of my kids might have pulled the power cable too hard (at the back of the vacuum). Any help to solve this problem will be very much appreciated. Tha

I have a Eureka Boss Power Plus and the beater bar is rolling, the belt is turning, but after vacuuming up around the litter box (not a lot of litter), when I turn the vacuum off, the litter, or even household dirt, falls out. Hi, A few days ago I bought a Philips hairdryer (HP4935/22) & have used it only twice. Somehow when I used it this morning some of my hair got caught in the filter at the back of the dryer & the motor slowed down & I think overheated & stopped. Normally the filters come off but I don't think this one does. I haven't turned it back on so as not to possibly damage it even more. I am quite upset as I really love this hairdryer. It's quiet, light, small, powerful & does the job brilliantly. I h

I can't turn the belt off of my Kirby vacuum. I had the front off of it earlier to attach the hose, but now when I put the front back on, I can't get the belt to turn off. The lever twists about 3/4 of the way around, but will not go the rest of the way.

I took the cover off the brush so I could cut off all the hair that was wrapped around it (vacuum was working fine, I just noticed the hair). I pulled the brush/spinner thing off one side, cleaned everything, popped it back in where it belonged, and tried to make sure the belt was in the proper alignment. However, when I turned the vacuum on, it makes a horrible noise like I'm sucking up rocks. What have I done wrong in putting it back together? It seemed simple...

Dyson dc07 The rotating brush on the bottom of my vacuum was filled with strings. I removed the brush by undoing all yellow plastic screws from plate. Removed all strings and replaced as best I could and it was hard to get the brush back in and the belt around it. I dont have my manual but it fits so it should be correct....? Right? No, not true, because when I turn it on and try to and vacuum (by lower canister with foot release) it makes that terrible ratching sound). Please help

I have a Kenmore vacuum cleaner model #116.34720. The problem I am having is that if you are rolling the vacuum around, the base will drop without pressing on the handle release pedal. This often results in a bunch of dirt being dumped back out. The manual doesn't show anything about adjusting the handle release pedal so it holds the handle and base in an upright position better. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have a DC07 and the brush wasn't rotating and I had no suction at the brush but perfect suction through the hose. I noticed a large build up of dog hair around the brush so I took off the cover plate and removed all the hair, cleaned inside the floor/brush housing and cleaned out the hose.
