Having problems with your iRobot Roomba 560 Robotic Vacuum ?

I just replaced all roomba 560 brushes and there is still a reply to clean brushes. And it still makes a clicking noise

Answers :

Pull both roller brushes out .pull off funny looking yellow end and clean hair ect.
I had a problem with the clicking noise and contacted Romba. They send out a new brush cage replacement and after two months it started again. I clean out romba after each room. When I contacted Roma again, they said the warranty was expired and I can purchase a brush cage. I decided to see if I culd fix it myself. I noticed that the brush would slip from the spacers so I cut a small piece of plastic from a bread bag clip and put it inside the spacer. Havent had a problem since. I am telling everyone I know not to purchase a Romba. If Romba dont want to stand behind their product, word of mouth can have a big impact and I know I have talked at least 4 people out of purchasing Rombas just on my poor experience alone.

I replaced the belt on my Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Vacuum and the brush roller rubs and makes a very loud noise when turned on. I have gone exactly by the manual instructions and made sure the belt and end caps were on correctly, but the bristles still rub the back and it makes a very loud noise. Without the brush roller in the vacuum, it sounds and runs normal. What could the problem be?

My Dyson DC 14 is making the horrible "ratcheting"sound only when the brush is engaged on the carpet setting. I have cleaned the brush, so there are no obstructions, the canister is empty and properly on the unit. I checked to make sure all of the "traps" and hoses are clear of obstructions, the belt is on the brush securely and moves freely, the brush itself spins freely, but there is still the "ratcheting" noise. Any other suggestions?

Our DC33 was making the same ratcheting sound immediately upon placing the cleaner/brush head on the carpet. We carefully pulled the beater/brush bar out of the vacuum. My Roomba 560 is making a clunking noise when it is on and it keeps stopping saying that I need to clean the brushes. I've thoroughly cleaned the brushes and I've cleaned lint from other small crevices but I'm still getting the error. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with my 560 after a day of use. For me, it's caused by the little yellow spacer that's clipped onto each side of the bristly brush. When the brush assembly is closed, it wedges rather tightly next to that yellow spacer on ... iRobot Roomba 560 Robotic Vacuum

The vacuum is making a noise like something is stuck when it is in the carpet position but not when in the floor position. I can't find anything that is stuck in the areas that I can see. I have cleaned the brush but it does not seem to want to turn. Does this machine need to be oiled so the roller will turn? Is there a way to check inside the motor? Do you think that because the brush won't turn that is making the noise? Do you know of any repair shops in the Lake Havasu City, Arizona area?
