Roomba Discovery Roomba is fully charged and cleaned with sensor wiped clean. When turned on it it sounds normal and commences to go, but it then acts like it is putting on the breaks, spins, tries to go and manages a short distance and breaks again, just not making any progress because it keeps breaking after a foot or so and turns and tries again. Sometimes is gets so stuck from moving forward at all, like it is stuck in one spot just trying to go while seemingly surrounded by barriers. Somet

I have a roomba 530 pet series. It appears that the brushes aren't turning. They are free of dirt and debris and move easily when manually turned. But, You can tell there may not be a motor turning, because the roomba is more quiet than normal when you turn it on. Also, the hair just collects along the bottom of the brush and doesn't get pushed into the bin.

Reboot is probably not your solution. Your Roomba will react to invisible signals or 'interference' from other electrical appliances as well as the invisible wall boxes. You can clearly see how this happens when a Roomba gets near your computer or ot ... iRobot Roomba 4210 Bagless Robotic Vacuum

I have a VX3000C Broan vacuum and the motor sometimes runs lower and comes back to normal time and time. Plus, now it lamost stops before coming back to normal speed. Can someone explain to me what that might be or if it did happen to someone else? It doesn't stop, but runs at very low speed and come back. It is like if a connection is not made properly. But it does the same at my 3 connections and I did check the one on the vaccuum itselfs.

My Bernina 807 set on min. speed takes off fast, doesn't go slow at all, although there is a difference in the slow speed setting and high speed setting if I switch from one to the other while stitching. The machine is well oiled and goes well apart from this. I would like min. speed to start smoothly and slowly. I have read it could be capacitor in foot, but DH says it does not look burnt out. Would it help my problem to remove it? thank you, Barbara

The brush is not moving on the vaccume. I'm pretty sure that the belt is busted. I cannot see how to get the shroud off, so that I can get to the roller and belt. It all looks and feels like one piece, even when I start removing screws. It is a bag-less vac. The model number is - v1310rs. Thank you.

I know on my Eureka I had to remove a couple of screws on the bottom and then get a flat blade screwdriver and wedge it on each side of the base kinda next where the end of the roller would be and it snaps up and off. Thanks! Awesome tip to get into the gear box. My roomba would start up but would move very sluggishly. Looked up the beep code and it was the brushes. Brushes are cleaned regularly so it was something internal. Did your solution of getting into & cleaning the gear box and viola! He's back!

Dog hair gets caught all the time in the belt drive spool, is there a fix for this other than having to pull it out all the time by hand? I have replaced the belt and the brush but this hasnt solved the problem and the belt moves so slowly and I get the loud whining/grinding noise too.

It could be either the clutch, the beater bar or the brush housing. I have included links to each parthttp://platinumvacuum.com/dyson-dc07-dc14-clutch-assembly-900252-04.htmlhttp://platinumvacuum.com/dyson-dc07-dc14-brushbar-assembly-9041 ... Dyson DC17 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I've had my Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner now for approximately 9 months and been very happy with my purchase. However, It is used sparingly maybe twice a week at the very most. The problem is when I try to use the item on my carpet, you have to push really hard to get it to move. It's as though the suction power is far to strong. It certainly doesn't glide as I think it should. It still picks up as usual but I cannot imagine that having to 'force' the machine to move is the normal operating procedu

I see noone has answered so I will.Yes,it could be done, but if there is not a conversion kit for your fan,it would not be wise to do it.For starters, all of the things required would probably cost at least $15.Also,there is at least one tool you would ... Vacuums

I have an Electrolux LITE upright carpet cleaner - about 15 years old. Suddenly last night when using it, from the normal motor (whooshing) sound, the motor suddenly went very slow and with a slight grinding sound. Which Kenmore vacuum cleaners are made by Panasonic? Are all of their direct drive machines made by Panasonic? We have a blue Hoover Windtunnel with the dirt sensor. We bought Kenmore models 36722 and 36724 and love them. I believe they were made by Panasonic. Our Kirby sits in the basement. Much heavier. These are quiet and clean well. I would like an
