Kenmore Progressive Canister w/Hepa Filter

\015 We've had this vac for a couple of years now. It's just shuts down at will. We've checked the head for spinning, blockages, bags, hose, belts, filters, basically anything we could think of that would cause this. Sometimes it will work with no problems then other times it will shut off every couple of minutes. Takes all day to vacuum sometimes!\015

Answers :

May have a problem with the motor protector or the motor itself. The motor thermo protector will shut the motor off if it senses it getting hot. So it could be bad.
