Having problems with your Kenmore 22313 Bagged Canister Vacuum ?

Cannot get belt cover off

\015 Don't have owner's manual, want to change belt, cover will not release.\015

Answers :

Yep, that's a tricky one.

There a part on the top of the nozzle that hides the screws. The best way to describe it is the light bulb housing. You have to squeeze the sides in to release it and pull it off. Then you will see two screws underneath it. When you remove those screws the whole to should come off.

Hope this helps good luck.

There does not seem to be any adjustment to take up the slack. I've put in new belts twice now & cannot get brush to rotate or tighten the belt to the brush.
