Having problems with your Kenmore 25512/ 25513 Progressive Canister Vacuum ?
Power head and wand connection is intermittent.
\015 Tried to take the power head apart by removing the 3 screws on the one side of the power head. Was not able to pull the sections apart and since they are plastic was worried something would break with continued prying. Need help with how to repair the power head connection and, probably, how to disassemble the power head.\015
If there is a rubber bumper on your power head you must slip it off before the two halves will separate.

When I have the extension wand on and the power floor attachment on, when it rotate the wand the light cuts out and so does the power floor attachment, when I twist it back it comes on again. I don't have this problem if I remove the wand and just use the crevice tool with the hose. Any idea where the short might be and can I fix it myself? Thanks. Gary
