Having problems with your Kenmore 34612 Bagged Upright Vacuum ?
Pushing it feels like someone keeps pressing a brake
\015 Ok, I'm sure this may sound odd but I'll do my best to describe the problem. I have a 30612 which I think is very similar to the 34612. When I push it on the carpet or on the wood floor it feels like a brake is being applied on and off repeatedly. In other words, it's hard to push and then easy to push. In about a four to five foot push it will be easy-hard-easy-hard-easy-hard. Sounds goofy, right? This will repeat no mater what conidtion. It doesn't matter if the vac is on or off, or if the lower housing is released or not. I think it's either the inside diameter of the wheels have worn to a point that they are sloppy and twist out of alignment or the wheel shaft is not being held properly by the plastic dust housing (due to wear) and it allows the wheels to rub on it. \015\012\015\012Anyone seen this before?\015
Well what you said about the wheels could be the problem. But it also could be the belt, if it hasn't been changed, or is a few months old, it may have stretched so as not to turn the brush roll, whitch would make push hard. The brush roll is what will pull the vacuum, so if the belt is bad, or the bristles of the brush roll are worn down, they need replacing.

I have a Necchi 522, an early mechanical stretch stitch machine. The timing and stitching are great, but over the past few projects I have noticed a balky tendency when I press the knee bar. After my last project the motor almost won't engage. Sometimes there is no sound, and sometimes there is a weak whirring, but no action until I push the hand wheel. I have a feeling that it is either the v belt or that the motor needs new brushes. Are either of these ideas likely, and if so, are they self

Dc07 problem I have a dc07 cyclonic vaccum and like this model, however, for some reason,it has been very dificult to push and pull for the past month or so. i have completely cleaned the brush assembly, cleared any obstructions in the hoses, and, cleaned the filter.I also checked the belt tension, wich i thought was fine but to no avail.Be advised that the brush assembly is spinning and suction is excellent. It just feels like the brush drags along the carpeting. this is a great vacuum cleaner and

I installed a new battery in my Roomba 540. It charges and runs directly with power cord but will not charge on dock. Asking again. Better wording? My lightweight Bissell carpet shampooer is continually spraying cleaning solution. The sucking action works well but can't keep up. This unit does NOT HAVE A HEATER. This is a simple unit. Is there a cable going down the handle from the trigger? ( it feels like that's the way it works. Could the drain be plugged. Also it will only use 1/2 a tank of solution at a time. Then must be filled again

Pfaff Creative 1459. When trying to wind a bobbin, I do what I've always done, turn the small round "wheel" on the right, slide the bobbing into the little knob that keeps it in place and gently press the foot thing on the floor that should start the bobbing to winding.
