Having problems with your Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

Tech drive has no power forward.

\015 I was watching your video on the tech drive. I was wondering if you could help me diagnose my problem. I have a g4, and the forward drive works, but has little or no power to propel the machine forward. the reverse works normally. I opened the machine, and the main belt is in tact. any ideas on how to repair.\015

Dear Sir:
Download the instruction manual from Kirby, and see the section troubleshooting guide. And proceed according. If you say do not enough power. The batteries can be Not good replace or recharge very well.
Or test the power cord and trafo, and see if the power is o.k or replace. Use the VOM for to test the output voltage.
Another faulty can be the motor some winding inside is overheating and consequently faulty.
God bless you

My Discovery 4210 Roomba will run normally for about 20 minutes on a smooth, wooden floor. It then begins the following sequence: run forward a few inches, turn in a tight counter-clockwise circle a few revolutions, stop, power off a few seconds, power up, repeat cycle from forward run. The sequence can be repeated seemingly endlessly if I don't turn off the power manually. I've replaced the motor, and led revolution sensor system on the left drive wheel. I've blown the dust out of everywhere. A

I have a Series G Kirby Model G7D. The other day when I was vacuuming all of a sudden the TechDrive (Power Drive Assist N/D) pedal fell off. I see the hole that it goes into but when I put it in it's loose and falls out and doesn't control the power drive anymore. When I shook the vacuum I heard something rattling around inside the vacuum head. So I unscrewed the bottom and looked inside and found a small metal part labeled K3 on one side and T on the other side. It looks like it would fit

I just bought a Hoover Power Drive Concept Two Electronic vacuum from the thrift shop. It only needed two belts and seems powerful. Are there high-performance bags available for it?

G5 Kirby. Works in Neutral fine. When Drive is engaged and I push forward, the wheels do not rotate forwards, however on the pullback stroke the wheels rotate backwards. What causes this? Something is clearly in the wrong position, so a diagram showing the correct position of the part that is affected would be useful.

Lately, my Kirby Ultimate G has been acting funny. When I push it forward, it's fine, but when I pull it backward on the carpet, the light on the front flickers and the power flutters off an on. I thought it might be the rollers, so tonight I turned the machine over and pulled out the hair that was wrapped around the roller. However, that did not fix the problem. I should probably backtrack a little bit. In the past, I have had problems with the vacuum running over its own power cord.

Faithful Sebo X1 upright, about 12 years old, stopped working today.
