Having problems with your Kirby Heritage II Vacuum ?

I have a Kirby Heritage 84. Great condition except the part that connects the innerbag is missing. I don't even know what it is called. I can open the vacuum cleaner bottom and see that the part is missing. It should be oval where it connects to the vacuum and then extend into the cloth bag. PLEASE HELP!

Answers :

The Heritage 84 had two different bag assemblies available. One is a dump-out bag. The dirt simply dumps through the bottom. The other is the bagged style which has a full length zipper to open it. Inside it should contain a "bag fill tube", and a top adapter to attach the bag onto. The oval fill tube is no longer available, but a round tube can be installed with a bit of efort.

I have a Model 116.35922500 Kenmore upright vacuum cleaner. It makes a loud air noise when using the vacuum. I have disconnected and removed the hose to see if anything is lodged in the hose and it appears clear. It makes the noise when the hose is connected. When I remove it, the noise stops. When I place my hand over the hose, the nose re appears. I sounds as though the noise is coming from the fan or internal parts of the machine. So, when there is a load or pull on the machine, it mak

The TechDrive Pedal on my Kirby G6 fell out of the back of my vacuum cleaner. I removed the screws from the metal plate one the bottom to try to see if something had come a loose. Can you send me a diagram so I can put it back together or tell me where I can get a service manual. The only part I am having trouble with is the metal piece inside that engages the power drive. I have an old Progressive vacuum cleaner that says "Hepa Filter" and "Whisper Belt". Not sure what the model # is. The problem is that the vacuum part itself (the part that touches the floor and rolls over) has ejected its filter that we can see through the little window- it just came out under the rollers under the device... we cannot see how to re-insert this piece of filter which looks like a kind of round, flat grey foam/fabric and clearly goes inside- (top of the part that touches the flo

Replacing filter Got a Filter Queen Majestic vacuum from my inlaws when they moved overseas. I am in middle of vacuuming, got a weird noise, so opted to check and clean the filter for first time. UGH. The lower 'pot' that's the bottom part of the thing was full of gunk, but the filter pristine clean against the cone that's attached to the upper part of the unit. In other words, I am shocked to see that the dirt goes not INTO the filter, but outside of it into the bottom portion (that I call the

Clogged vacuum Rather stupidly, my boyfriend 1) were vacuuming without a bag and 2) vacuumed up a big piece of cotton from a sofa cushion. And now it's making a horrible noise and I see it vibrating where the tube connects to the machine. When you look inside there's a white thing sticking out but it looks like it's part of the vacuum. If it's a clog, how do you fix it? I tried unscrewing the tray the bag sits in but it won't budge.

You can start by taking off the bottom plate or top cover, which ever comes off, that is where the inlet starts going in and hopefully the clog is there. Could be in the hose also. I have a Series G Kirby Model G7D. The other day when I was vacuuming all of a sudden the TechDrive (Power Drive Assist N/D) pedal fell off. I see the hole that it goes into but when I put it in it's loose and falls out and doesn't control the power drive anymore. When I shook the vacuum I heard something rattling around inside the vacuum head. So I unscrewed the bottom and looked inside and found a small metal part labeled K3 on one side and T on the other side. It looks like it would fit

HI! i am not sure what the part is called that i need for my DC07. I can point it out on the vacuum. i think it is a hose that connects the bottom part of the vaccuum to the bucket part...i am sorry that i am not more specific.

A family member recently gave me their Kenmore Vacuum Cleaner (model 35821) and I did not notice that the power cord was missing at first. I tried to look closely at the manual online to see if this was something I would be able to purchase or if the vacuum was no longer any good. Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit.
