Air blowing out not sucking in - Kirby Heritage II Vacuum

Answers :

You probably have blockage. Remove the head and look. If you don't see anything, remove the bag assembly from the body (you can do this by un-hooking the bag from the handle at the top, then twisting the base of the bag (to the left if you're looking at it from the front) and it should (with some force) pop off. Look inside the bag base AND the back of the body of the vacuum. If you still don't see any blockage check the hose that runs up through the cloth bag assembly itself.

The vacuum does not **** in dirt. It is blowing air instead. Yet when I disconnect the vacuum from the cannister, the suction seems very strong. I took it to a vacuum repairman, and he said that Kenmore sucks and I might as well get rid of it. (He wanted to sell me another one) It is 10 years old, but if I can fix it I would like to try.

Dysin vacuum blows air instead of sucking it!

Dysons aren't supposed to clog up, but they do. There a number of ports you can open to see if there are clogs in any of them. Usually a clog is why it will blow air and debris out instead of sucking. You just need to find it. ... Vacuums

I have a Kirby G4. I have noticed the last few days when trying to vacuum that it is blowing more than it is sucking up. I put on a new bag to make sure it wasn't too full. I also put on the hose and noticed it's not sucking as well as normal. I unzipped the back of the bag holder and noticed the bag isn't inflating as it should be as well. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Take the mini emptor off(plastic piece on bottom of cloth bag) this is done by rotating it away from the body of the machine. There is most likely a clog there. Also take the brush head off and inspect fan for chips or cracks this will also reduce su ... Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum

My Kirby Heritage II vacuum is not picking up dirt up out of the carpet like usual, and I have to keep setting it lower to pick anything up. I finally get it to such a low setting that it starts sucking the carpet up and makes a whirring noise, and starts smelling. Every time this happens, we find the belt has been burned. We are wondering if the brush roll inside with the brushes that pick up dirt are worn out and too short?

Hello, we have a Miele cat and dog turbo 5000 vacuum cleaner which we bought in December. It has just started blowing air out of the grid on the top of the cleaner instead of sucking from the tube. The whole top section which is opened to change the bags doesn't seem to want to clip down properly either. Do you have any ideas> I'm gutted as it was so good until this happened. Thanks Michelle.

The lid not closing properly is almost certainly the cause of your problem. Without that lid sealed tight to the body you will get no suction through the hose. So, the question is: why isn't the lid clipping down properly? Did you just change the bag ... Vacuums
