How to attach Kirby Heritage Suds-o-gun?

\015 Just got a Kirby Heritage, but no manual with it, and a couple of attachments I'm not familiar with. The "Suds-o-Gun" intrigues me. How exactly is it to be attached to -- presumably -- the "exhaust" end of the machine? There are also two smaller attachments with metal screens in them, and a small plastic funnel-type thing. I'm suspecting these items are all part of the Sudsing thing?\015

Answers :

To use the suds-o-gun you need to convert you Kirby to blower mode. First remove the carpet head.
If you have all of the standard kirby attachments there should be a plastic cover to go over the front of the kirby where the carpet head attaches. Its round with square holes in one end. If you don't have this no biggie. Just leave the carpet head on the machine and rotate the belt to the off position so the brush rool bush on rotate. Remove the bag for the machine attach the hose where the bag was use the same end that attaches to the front on the machine. There are notches on the inside of the hose connector the fit over the tabs on the bag port. Fill the suds gun tank with shampoo and water. Attach the suds gun to the kirby hose. The suds gun nozzle is funnel shaped with wire mesh on the end. This helps to make the suds finer. Also the suds gun should have a knob to set how much suds come out when you pull the trigger. Turn on you kirby and suds away.

I hope this helps.

You may be missing the small round suds screen. It should cover the hole where the shampoo goes from the tank into the hose. It may be wedged sideways in the hose end. \015\012\015\012Marci ... Kirby Generation 3 Bagged Upright Vacuum

I have a Kirby Heritage II Turbo and I need a user's manual, but can't find one anywhere. I have to replace the fill tube in the bag and can see the cable tie on top that holds it in place, but don't know how it's attached to the mini-emtor. If I can't replace the fill tube, will tape fix it? If I just taped it; will it hold? Thanks.

Taping usually just causes a mess. The mini-emptor has coarse threads on it that the fill tube screws on to. Occasionally there is a cable tie on the bottom which is not really necessary. If you cut the tube near the bottom, you can get hold of it's ... Kirby Heritage II Vacuum

My Kirby shampooer - G4 - hardly used any water from the tank and no suds at all. Pet hair did blow out of the small slotted holes in the tray as I moved the shampooer back and forth, but the carpet was basically dry. I did vacuum before shampooing, so the brush part seemed to work great during shampooing, but no water! The small screen was stuck in the crook of the hose that attached to the tank so I did get that out and put it on the small hole on the tank, but it didn't make any difference. I
