Having problems with your Kirby Ultimate G Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

G-5 Kirby self-propel works intermitently. The handle must be jiggled until it engages forward. The same for reverse. Once underway it will continue indefinitely until the need to change direction. Jiggle go forward, jiggle go in reverse. It seems as though it helps to push the handle at an angle to the left depressing the switch on the left side at the base of the vacuum head.

Answers :

Sounds like a loose wire, the wire is connected to the handle, you may be able to fix this yourself but be careful you can void the warranty by doing it your self. (most people make the problem worse) remember your kirby has a lifetime warranty (limited) the first 3 years anything and everything, after that for 175 dollars you can send it in and get it rebuilt to the newest model no matter how old it is as long as the person is still alive that signed the warranty card.

hope that helped.

I have an Easy-Flo central vac unit. The handle on the electric hose has a switch on the handle. With the switch on ''O'' in the center, it's off. On the left, is the ''I'' position. The vacuum runs but the power brush doesn't. On the right is the ''II'' position. The switch won't flip that way. It feels stuck. It feels as if there is something underneath of it that won't let it push that direction. I have the switch out of the handle, but I can't seem to get the actual black casing around the

My steam pocket mop seems clogged. Steam does not come out of the mop head. The clog appears to be in the rectangular mop head. The triangular head still works fine. I've tried soaking it in hot water and soaking it with cleaning solutions. They have not worked. If I blow into the connection piece, no air goes through. That's what leads me to believe there is a clog. If you can help, please do. I like the product and haven't been able to use it for awhile because of this. Thanks.

For some reason, I do not have an "operation manual" --- but it doesn't seem to be all that complicated! Have left it plugged in for 25 minutes. A small amount of water came out while just sitting. I have a Model U57809RM Hoover Cyclonic which started making a very loud noise. Changed both belts on it but the noise persists. It seems to happen when I put the handle in the 'engage to vacuum' mode. The minute I start to lower it the noise begins. Help!

Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?

Hi: My DC14 (not animal version) has 3 major cracks that have pretty much killed the thing. There are three 'columns' that run down from the handle to the base. On all three the plastic has cracked at about the point where the bottom of the canister meets the permafilter. The vacuum is useless now and

I have a Eureka 5902AVZ and the brushroll does not work. when i remove the belt, which is not torn nor worn out, the motor spins perfectly fine. Though when i put the brushroll back into place, it shows that the motor is trying to spin, but with resistance. it seems the brushroll will not spin if locked into place, because there is no attachment on the left side of the brushroll that will allow it to spin freely with the belt. am I missing some parts or is there something else wrong?
