Having problems with your Kirby Ultimate G Bagged Upright Vacuum ?

After watching video still cannot get my Ultimate G Vacuum to operate

Answers :

Hi there SmartAlec from Nelsonvacuums.com.au here. There are two microswitches that both have to be engaged before the machine will operate. Basically it is to protect the machine from being turned on when not assembled correctly. The first switch is activated when you put the cleaning head on the front this is normally ok providing the head fits on snug and doesnt wobble. The one that trips most people up particularly when new is when the boot at the bottom of the bag is connected to the machine. It has to be positioned perpendicular to the machine then turned back towards the body of the kirby. It will get tough and fell like it stops but it needs to go just a little further untill it clicks and locks into place. It is very stiff when new and requires a fair bit of force but once on their it should get your machine going.
\015\012Hope this helps regrds SmartAlec.
\015\012Happy Vacuuming :)

I've had my Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner now for approximately 9 months and been very happy with my purchase. However, It is used sparingly maybe twice a week at the very most. The problem is when I try to use the item on my carpet, you have to push really hard to get it to move. It's as though the suction power is far to strong. It certainly doesn't glide as I think it should. It still picks up as usual but I cannot imagine that having to 'force' the machine to move is the normal operating procedu

I have a nearly 9 year old Electrolux Excellio Z5228 vacuum cleaner. It has recently started cutting out during operation. I cleaned the micro filter (between bag & motor) via brush & hitting against wall & seems / looks quite clean. Hoover Upright Vacuum model U5470-900 - The On/Off switch on the handle does not properly engage the power switch deeper in the handle assembly. It appears to ride over the lower switch and doesn't engage it to operate it. If I play with it, I can get it to maybe turn on the vacuum, but, then the upper handle switch won't turn it off. Our current workaround is to use the power cord for on/off operation.

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac with blower capability (22 L). While I was using it to **** up water, the water came out of the blower hose. Now I can't get it to work as a vacuum. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a toggle switch somewhere that allows me to choose vacuum or blower? Also, will the vacuum still work without the filter nut attached to the plate? Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
