Kirby shampooer dispensing - NOT a filter problem
\015 I have a Kirby Ultimate G that is not properly dispensing the Kirby carpet shampoo. It comes out in only 2"-3" strips. I thought the problem was the little mesh filter - it just sits loosely in there and tends to fall out into the connector tube - but I secured it with plumbing tape and the problem still occurs. I have also checked the sponge filter and it is fine. Please help - I am ready to take this thing to the pawn shop, since I bought it mostly for the shampooer! Oh, and I have read the other responses to similar problems, so no need to post links to manuals or to Kirby customer support. I'm looking for direct solutions, please.\015
I had the same problem and I called my local Kirby guy, he's great, helped me when I thought I blew my kirby up, it was just a cord and he wa able to tell me that over the phone. When I called him with this problem, he knew right away that it was only putting out a thin strip in the middle only. The first thing was I needed that little screen, the second was the hole where the screen goes has a white tube that goes from that hole to the bottom of the tank, its kinda in the corner and I never thought it would have anything to do with the problem. He said I needed to run hot water in it and clean it cuz I was going to have to blow in it, yes, with my mouth. I ran it under hot water for a few minutes and then with hot water in the hole, blew into it. I did this a few times, checking the tube ending each time. After a few times, water was shooting freely through the tube. Problem solved, I think, I'll be shampooing tonight so i'll know for sure then. An alternative to blowing with your mouth would be using a can of air, didnt think of it till now and I have 1!

Shampoo-er This seems to be a common problem, the shampooer is putting out alot of water and hardly any suds. I read through the posts about the little filter that sometimes gets out of place and I think I found it in the box - is it about 1" diameter hard plastic ring around very fine mesh? If so where exactly does it go? Some posts say in the hose, and others say in the opening of the tank. Or does it go in the place where the hose attaches to the tray? I also found a round sponge in the box o

Our problem with our Rainbow E Series is that it has sucked water up and blown it out through the lower part of the hepa filter, making the filter wet and dirty. This had happened before and the repair shop did not see any problems with the machine, so we replaced the filter and were very carful not to overfill the tank and to change the water often. Now it has happened again and ruined another filter. Do you know what could be causing this issue? Can the filter be cleaned or will a new one be

I posted my problem earlier today that I was having with my Bissell Little Green Machine not dispensing solution, but sucked up no problem. Someone said that the most common problem was a blockage. We put hot water in the reservoir for 15 minutes as advised and it still will not dispense. The fluid is now ''dribbling''so it is better. It is just not spraying. We are able to blow from the end and make bubbles in the reservoir which shows us it is not blocked. Any other suggestions?

Now I can?t figure out where to put the ?screen cap? and ?sponge filter?. Hello! I purchased the cascade 170 internal filter for my tadpole this past Tuesday. All seemed to be well until I returned home from work this Sunday morning to find him dead. There was a film of little white bubbles all of the top layer of the water. I'd like to get another tadpole but would like to know
My Riccar 1700 will intermittently lose power while vacuuming. I have had the vacuum for 4 years and this is the second time that I have had this problem. The first time the authorized repairperson said the problem was a dirty hepa filter. The second time, the repairperson put on a "pig-tail"(?) and said that he did not have a shut-down problem when he tested the vacuum in the store. I just picked it up from the store today, brought it home and the same problem occurred within minutes.

The soap dispenser on my 2X is not dispensing. I wrote with this initial problem and received a reply. We did everything recommended to find a clog. To begin with, we poked holes thru the little holes on the underside with a toothpick. Next we took the machine all apart as directed and cleaned out anything that had accumulated (such as pet hair). Eventually we emptied out the soap dispenser, filled it with a hot salt water solution and let it sit for 10 min. I ran three tanks of hot water
