When the heating tank is empty there is no steam that comes out of the iron. Also, there is water dripping off profusely from under the iron where the steam normally comes out. My Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum is not working. The red (empty) light stays on even though its full and it doesn't produce any steam. I doubt that the water is getting down into the heating chamber. How easy is it to take apart and clean or can I just blow compressed air through it? Any help most appreciated. You can probably just blow it out with the air compressor. If you have a air pressure regulator on the air compressor then I would turn it down to about 30-40 psi. Then try to blow out the line. ... Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum

November 2008 I bought a Simac Stirella 9000D steam generator iron. Recently its been leaking water out the bottom of the regenerator. It makes a noise when it is trying to get the steam to the iron and it works then but afterwards when the noise stops it stops steaming and I find a puddle of water underneath the regenerator. Also a little steam comes out of the water tank at the top. I understand this is happening because of scale in the base unit. Can I get something to get rid of the scale? -
