Having problems with your Miele s558 Silver Moon Vacuum ?

Will stop running for no apparent reason. The light stays on and you can amp up the power to restart, but the problem is persistent. The book says to change the filters, which has been done.

Greetings from GoVacuum,

\015\012This problem is caused by the static electricity which causes the hose controls to jump back down to the off setting. I have seen this issue on several Silver Moon and Blue Moon models before.

The only way to fix this problem is to purchase a brand new, redesigned hose. The new hose can be purchased here; Miele Electric Hose Miele Part # SES 125 .

In fact, I'm so sure that this new hose will fix the problem to your Miele, that if you do purchase the hose from GoVacuum, we'll give you a 60 day satisfaction money back guarantee. If this hose doesn't fix your problem, you may return it to GoVacuum within 60 days for a full 100% refund, no restocking fees or shipping charges will be deducted. We'll even include a free return label you can use to return the hose to us at our expense!

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email, or request a clarification. I hope this helped you. If you found this solution helpful, please remember to rate this solution as helpful by clicking on the four THUMBS UP icons in the top right hand corner of this solution.

Our problem with our Rainbow E Series is that it has sucked water up and blown it out through the lower part of the hepa filter, making the filter wet and dirty. This had happened before and the repair shop did not see any problems with the machine, so we replaced the filter and were very carful not to overfill the tank and to change the water often. Now it has happened again and ruined another filter. Do you know what could be causing this issue? Can the filter be cleaned or will a new one be

Miele Cat & Dog vacuum gets VERY hot and is VERY loud. Hose has no restrictions and I have changed the dust compartment (motor) filter and the exhaust filter. It still gets hot when I run it with the top open and all filters removed, so I'm guessing the problem is with the motor. Should I be going into the motor compartment? If so, what am I looking for?

Hi\015\012\015\012The fact that it gets very hot could be due to a number of issues.,but the fact that it started making a very loud noise at the same time suggests that there might be more problems maybe brushes etc.\015\012\ ... Miele S514 Solaris Bagged Canister Vacuum

I have an old Progressive vacuum cleaner that says "Hepa Filter" and "Whisper Belt". Not sure what the model # is. Shampoo-er This seems to be a common problem, the shampooer is putting out alot of water and hardly any suds. I read through the posts about the little filter that sometimes gets out of place and I think I found it in the box - is it about 1" diameter hard plastic ring around very fine mesh? If so where exactly does it go? Some posts say in the hose, and others say in the opening of the tank. Or does it go in the place where the hose attaches to the tray? I also found a round sponge in the box o

I am trying to change an old fashioned fuse, (house lights), luckily had a spare one. Over heating? My 10 gallon 4HP shop vac has started shutting off after about 30 sec. after I turn it on to use. It smells real hot after I shut it off. Won't start. My son was using the vacuum & Didn't change the bag. The vacuum was making the full bag smell, but the light was't on & it didn't stop. I stopped him, changed the bag, checked the filter, closed the compartments & turned on the vacuum. Nothing happened. I checked to be sure that it was plugged in, that wasn't the problem. I've let the vacuum "rest" for several days, It still won't start. Any suggestions?
