FAN PROBLEM??? good morning! my vacuum smells like burnt rubber (fan perhaps) but I can't find how to get into main part of the vacuum. it's just very rounded with no latches or screws to get inside where the motor, belts and fans would be located. can you help me? thank you

I need to replace the motor fan on my Eureka Upright 1945b and I don't have the repair manual.
Need manual for Eureka Powerline Plus Model 9730 Type A - missing "door" that covers tool access port on body of upright motor...any ideas? This causes dirt to fly out unless tool hose is placed in "port"--don't always want to use tools, just main vacuum.

Bissell proheat 2x 9200 series carpet cleaner. I need to remove the Brush Drive motor. However, this series has the gear end of the motor shaft poking out a hole on the left hand side. I removed the retaining washer and pin from the gear shaft. I need to get the gear off of the shaft in order to remove the motor. It's not budging. How do I remove the gear so I can pull the motor out of the unit? Thanks .

Hi On a Hoover convertable model U4497-900 I'm trying to replace the fan. The old fan cracked, then flew apart. I have the new fan, have the motor assembly removed, but can't seem to get the pulley nut off the motor to replace the fan. Is there a trick to this or should I just try to muscle it? Thanks.

You could just try to clean the motor out by taking it apart, and shining the shaft up. then put some motor oil/engine oil on the shaft. That will work 99% of the time. ... Vacuums
